The room was simply not cleaned, dust bunnies under the bed. The bed itself was also not comfortable. Only the breakfast was good. Also had to ask twice to replace the bath towels. They only speak French and having to work with Google Translate to communicate is not easy.

She told us that our reservation had been canceled (even though I have proof to the contrary). She found us a room... which was not what we had paid for (large bed... a 140). We arrived in the room... No toilet paper... a dirty bathroom... and so on. No storage. . And this morning at breakfast. . . a slice of cheese and a hard-boiled egg. . . salami and dried blood sausage. No croissants. . . nothing! For all these reasons, we canceled our night of 1/1.

Rooms fine, thank you is good. Missed a small fridge and the possibility to make coffee/tea and glasses. Service was very mediocre. On the website and at Booking/Belvilla it states that there was a restaurant and bar. At least in the photos and reviews. This was not open during the week we were there. We were there for New Year's, everything in the area was closed then, so we ate in the hotel room and spent the evening there. We had asked if the common area with the couch and fireplace could remain open so that we could sit somewhere, but that was not allowed. We had reserved for 4 nights, but not a single day was the room cleaned. That in itself is not so bad, but towels and toilet paper were also not replenished. They did not speak Dutch, one man spoke a little English. They did their job, but did not make it a special stay. For example, there was not even a happy New Year wished or asked at checkout how the stay had been. During cleaning (a few hours a day), the storage cabinet was simply left open, and inside were the keys to all the rooms exposed. Breakfast was the same every day. Fine but very simple. Nothing warm like a fried egg or something. No fruit either. There was, for example, a large tea box with only 3 bags in it, so when that was gone, there was no more tea to be had. The same with the jam. The location is very good. Central for activities and sights and close to a restaurant and bakery. All in all, fine for a night, but not recommended for longer.
