Restaurant review, I visited Alle and had dinner with friends at Au Coeur d’Alle, The food was exceptionally good, I opted for the €39 menu du jour, which featured a locally caught trout in a mushroom sauce, I'm giving it such a high rating because I was amazed that a small hotel could have such a skilled kitchen! My friends ordered the spare ribs and were just as impressed, Before our meal, we were served some amuse bouche that included slices of homemade pork pie, and they were truly delicious,

Even though it was chilly outside, we found ourselves in a cozy and warm environment, The room was spacious and offered a view of the terrace, yet it was quiet from outside noise, The bathroom had a toilet, shower, an abundance of soft towels, and a hairdryer, A large, beautifully arranged table was set for dinner in the dining room specifically for our group, After a refreshing night's rest, we were greeted by a generous breakfast buffet, which included hard-boiled eggs, In conclusion, it served as an excellent base for exploring the Semois region on foot, Highly recommended,

The server refused to give us a table for 4, including one child, at 7:30 PM, even though there were many empty tables. Fortunately, Chez Fernand et Marguerite right next door welcomed us, and it was really very very good :)

Last weekend, I stayed with my girlfriend at Au Coeur D' Alle in Vresse. We were very warmly welcomed by the owners, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the beds were excellent. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant was good and well-maintained. It is a very quiet village. We will definitely come back.

During our visit for the festival in Bouillon, we stayed at this hotel. The room was decent and clean,,, I specify that there was no air conditioning. The breakfast was very good. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

On 30/4/25, I booked a room for one night with breakfast for 145€, The bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was quite small, measuring 1,5m by 1,5m, I stayed in room number 10, The safe was easy to use, but it felt like it could be taken away in a bread bag, The waiter was very friendly, At breakfast, there was no white or brown bread, no pistolets or sandwiches, just stale baguette or croissants, There was no dinner available after 8 PM, so everything was closed, and I couldn't get any coffee or soft drinks,

Run away! We had booked 2 nights at the hotel Au Coeur d'Alle on the 31st and 1/1/2026. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a lady who made us feel like we were bothering her. She told us that our reservation had been canceled (even though I have proof to the contrary). She found us a room... which was not what we had paid for (large bed... a 140). We arrived in the room... No toilet paper... a dirty bathroom... and so on. No storage. . And this morning at breakfast. . . a slice of cheese and a hard-boiled egg. . . salami and dried blood sausage. No croissants. . . nothing! For all these reasons, we canceled our night of 1/1.

I spent 2 days in this hotel from 08/22/2024 to 08/23/2024. The welcome from the servers and the owners was very pleasant and attentive. The charm of the establishment with its authentic Ardennes interior is ideally located for beautiful walks. We tasted the menu; everything was tasty. The bed was very comfortable and clean, even though we had chosen a small room. I recommend it.

On the website and at Booking/Belvilla it states that there was a restaurant and bar. At least in the photos and reviews. This was not open during the week we were there. We were there for New Year's, everything in the area was closed then, so we ate in the hotel room and spent the evening there. We had asked if the shared space with a couch and fireplace could remain open so that we could sit somewhere, but that was not allowed. We had reserved for 4 nights, but not a single day was the room cleaned. That in itself is not so bad, but towels and toilet paper were also not replenished. They did not speak Dutch, one man spoke a little English. They did their job, but did not make it a special stay. For example, no happy New Year was wished or asked how the stay had been at checkout. During cleaning (a few hours a day), the storage cabinet is simply left open, and the keys to all the rooms were lying out in the open. Breakfast was the same every day. Fine but very simple. Nothing warm like a fried egg or something. No fruit either. There was, for example, a large tea box with only 3 bags in it, so when that was gone, there was no more tea to be had. The same with the jam. The location is very good. Central for activities and sights and close to a restaurant and bakery. All in all, fine for a night, but not recommended for longer.
