Welcome to our holiday home (semi-detached house) completed in 2024, located in a newly developed residential area in Bischofsmais. Construction activity in the area is expected to continue until approximately the end of 2025.
Our allergy-friendly holiday home with 57 sqm offers space for 2 people. It consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a large cozy kitchen-living room, shower bathroom, storage room, hallway, and a terrace. The holiday home is located in a quiet area on the outskirts near Sankt Hermann. Shopping facilities for daily needs (EDEKA, bakery, ski rental, sports shops, etc.), restaurants, and the very beautiful spa park with Kneipp facility and sports equipment are within walking distance in about 5-10 minutes.
You are here in Europe's largest contiguous forest area with still untouched primeval forest regions. Our local mountain is the Geißkopf, in summer with the MTB Zone bike park, archery, horseback riding, cycling, Nordic walking, and hiking opportunities. In winter for skiing and snowshoeing with cross-country ski trails and a toboggan run. Hikes to the Landshuterhaus or Teufelstisch start directly from the holiday home. A golf course as well as a launch site for paragliding can be reached on the Rusel at a distance of about 10 km. Bischofsmais is an ideally located starting point for exploring the Bavarian Forest. The nearest larger town, Deggendorf, with a thermal bath, culture, and many shopping opportunities, is only 16 km away. The glass town of Zwiesel and the Glass Museum in Frauenau are 20 km away.
Also easily accessible are the three-river city of Passau as well as Straubing and Regensburg. The Großer and Kleiner Arber with their lakes offer alpine flair both in winter and in summer, and the Finsterau National Park with its wildlife enclosure and treetop path is also a worthwhile excursion destination.
