More than just a holiday home – experience French country life
Le Grenier de Neuvy is not simply a vacation residence – it is a place to recharge. Our house is located in the rural community of Neuvy-Deux-Clochers, surrounded by forests, fields, and vineyards. The region is known for its authenticity, its tranquility – and its excellent wines. Only a few kilometers away lies the medieval town of Sancerre, a paradise for wine lovers, gourmets, and those interested in culture. The wineries of Menetou-Salon and Pouilly-Fumé are also reachable in a short time. Visits with wine tastings can be easily arranged – feel free to contact us.

Numerous hiking and cycling trails start right at the house. There are opportunities for horseback riding, canoeing, golfing, and fishing in the area.

The Loire can be reached by car in 15 minutes – perfect for day trips.

Children love the nearby climbing forest and the zoo in Saint-Aignan.

Just a few kilometers away lies the famous Sancerre, one of the most beautiful villages in France, known for excellent Sauvignon Blanc, charming alleys, cozy cafés, and fantastic views over the Loire Valley. The wineries of Menetou-Salon and Pouilly-Fumé are also quickly reached – perfect for relaxed tastings directly with the winemaker.

But it’s not only wine lovers who get their money’s worth. For active vacationers, the surrounding area offers numerous hiking and cycling trails that start right at the house. Whether through the forest, along fields, or through small villages – here you will find peace and open space. Nearby, there are also opportunities for horseback riding, golfing, canoeing, or simply walking along the Loire.

A very special highlight of the region are the many magnificent castles and palaces that have made the Loire Valley famous. Within an hour you can reach:

the historic Château de Menetou-Salon, which combines wine and history,

the romantic Château de la Verrerie with its lake and park,

the medieval Château de Saint-Fargeau, known for its impressive historical evening shows,

and the fascinating construction project Guédelon, where for over 20 years a castle has been rebuilt stone by stone using authentic medieval techniques – an experience for young and old. A little further west, the classic Loire Valley begins with its famous Renaissance castles such as Chambord, Cheverny, or Sully-sur-Loire – perfect for a day trip.
