The wellness apartment is located in a separate building on our spacious farm in Dalerveen. The grounds are small-scale and lovingly designed, with several other holiday accommodations. Each accommodation has its own entrance and its own terrace, so you can enjoy peace and privacy at any time.
Surroundings
Around the apartment you will experience the open atmosphere of the Drenthe landscape. You look out over wide fields and vast skies and enjoy a peaceful environment where you can hear the birds chirping. The Pieterpad runs right by Dalerveen, making this place ideal for hikers and cyclists looking for a comfortable stopover. It is also a wonderful starting point for longer tours through forests, heathlands, and small villages. Although the location is pleasantly quiet, you can reach the A37 motorway by car in just a few minutes and easily take trips, for example to Emmen with the Wildlands Adventure Zoo or to the lively center of Hardenberg just across the Overijssel border. Thank you for the dreamlike vacation.
We were 4 people for 3 days in this apartment. Erik and Astrid are 2 very nice and humorous hosts who are available around the clock and are always helpful with questions/requests.
The jacuzzi met expectations and has enough space for 4 people.
The apartment is nicely furnished, has comfortable beds, and overall gives a clean impression.
The location is perfect for vacationers looking for peace and who love the landscape. When looking for activities or city life, one definitely relies on a car. For us, however, peace was the most important thing from the beginning. All in all, we were more than satisfied and can highly recommend this vacation apartment! Would love to come back!

We are Erik and Astrid Romijn, entrepreneurs with heart and soul. Ten years ago, Erik exchanged his camping store and Astrid her computer training company to build a camper park together in the big city of The Hague. They were wonderful years, mostly with foreign guests. In the high season, there were fifty campers with guests who came to discover the sights of the city. When the camper park had to make way for the construction of a tram depot and no suitable alternative location could be found in the wider area, we decided to take a new direction – literally and figuratively. We fell in love again, this time with Dalerheugte in South-East Drenthe. A beautiful white farmhouse with four charming and successful holiday apartments, lovingly built by Marc and Ellen de Kolf, who are now embarking on a new adventure themselves. With great enthusiasm, we took over as the new host and hostess at the beginning of April 2025. We immediately started with an expansion: two B&B rooms and four luxury safari tents. With these ten accommodations, we want to ensure that guests have every choice for an atmospheric overnight stay, whether in an apartment, B&B room, or safari tent – each with its own charm.
