Welcome to this charming cottage in a private, peaceful setting surrounded by forest and stunning natural beauty. A perfect retreat to disconnect from everyday life and reconnect with nature, rest, and tranquility. This is the ideal accommodation for anyone looking to unwind, read a book, light a fire in the stove, and simply be. The house features a spacious, country-style kitchen with dining area – perfect for cooking in peace while enjoying views of the surrounding greenery. The bedroom offers a comfortable double bed, and the cozy living room includes a seating area with a sofa bed, a small dining space, and a wood-burning stove for chilly evenings. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and flushing toilet. The house has running water throughout, but please note: the water has not been tested for drinking, so we recommend bringing bottled water. Pets are warmly welcome, and cleaning supplies are easily accessible via the door in the bedroom. Outside, you’ll find a breathtaking environment with views of the forest and open fields. From the porch, you can soak in the sounds of nature, watch the sun set behind the trees, and—if you're lucky—spot wild boar or other wildlife that roam the area in the evenings and at night. This is a place to slow down, recharge, and enjoy the simple life – all year round. Please respect private buildings on the property. There’s much to explore in Skåne, all within reasonable distance. If you enjoy swimming, fishing, hiking or biking, there’s an abundance of natural beauty nearby. Several lakes are just a short drive away – such as Ivösjön, Immeln (home to an ice cream boat in summer), and Oppmannasjön, to name a few. You’ll also find historic churches and castles to visit, as well as the Ljungryda Nature Reserve. Vångaberget offers skiing in winter and cycling in summer. For golf lovers, there are several golf courses nearby – including Araslöv Golf Club, which also has an excellent restaurant. If you're looking for a beach day, Åhus boasts one of Skåne’s most beautiful beaches.
