Description
Our holiday home Achtern Diek 61a combines the cozy atmosphere of an A-frame house with the comfort of a modern vacation residence. In 2017, we were awarded 4 stars by the German Tourism Association (DTV) and may also call ourselves “KinderFerienLand Niedersachsen” as an especially child-friendly holiday home – an award that makes us very proud.
The living and dining area with integrated fitted kitchen offers plenty of space for shared moments with the family. Board games for young and old, a DVD player, and a small selection of DVDs provide entertainment – perfect for relaxing evenings. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, a walk-in shower, and a washing machine, so nothing is lacking.
In the master bedroom, a comfortable double bed awaits you, while in the children's room, the lovingly designed catamaran bed ensures sweet dreams. If needed, we also provide a travel cot with a full mattress so that even our youngest guests feel comfortable with us.

Butjadingen is a beautiful peninsula on the North Sea coast in Lower Saxony, which delights with its unique mix of nature, sea, and charming places. The quiet and family-friendly atmosphere makes the area perfect for a relaxing holiday with children or for anyone who wants to escape everyday life.
Here you can enjoy the fresh sea breeze, discover the diverse wildlife during mudflat walks, or explore the beautiful nature by bike. The location between Jade Bay and the Weser estuary makes Butjadingen an ideal place to experience the North Sea and its surroundings in complete tranquility.
The holiday home is located in the holiday park ‘Achtern Diek’ and stands out due to its central yet quiet location in a cul-de-sac.
Arrival:
A29 from Oldenburg towards Wilhelmshaven, exit Varel-Obenstrohe -> Varel. B437 towards North Sea resorts. In Diekmannshausen, turn left onto Bäderstraße. Follow the signs to Nordseebad Burhave.
A 27 from Bremen towards Bremerhaven, exit Stotel: B 437 towards Wesertunnel; B 212 towards Nordenham, follow the signs to Nordseebad Burhave
by bus and train:
via Bremen to Nordenham. From there, buses run daily to the North Sea resorts

We are the Heuer family, and after only two holiday stays in Burhave, it was clear to us: This place is our second home. Here we feel completely comfortable and are always happy to return. Inspired by this, we looked for our own holiday home. After a year of intensive preparations and construction, our wish became reality: In the summer of 2016, we were able to welcome the first guests to our own holiday house.
