Welcome to our beautiful holiday home Balaton in Balatonkeresztúr on Lake Balaton. With a living space of 85 square metres, the former farmhouse offers space for up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a kitchen with dining area and a bathroom. Two sofa beds can sleep two more people, but are located in an open area of the house. These can also be used for "snoring escapes" at night. It has been categorised as 3 stars and has the NTAK No. MA24087770 (Magyar Turisztikai)
The holiday home is equipped with a modern and fully equipped kitchen, which includes a dishwasher, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. For your convenience, there is also a washing machine, an iron and a hairdryer.
The accommodation offers numerous amenities, including plenty of parking space to park your vehicle safely. You can also relax in our beautiful garden with barbecue area and garden furniture and the children have plenty of space to play. A sandpit, trampoline and football goal provide plenty of fun. Pets also have plenty of space here and the garden is fenced.
The holiday home has a terrace where you can enjoy the warm summer evenings or have a cosy breakfast in the morning. For cooler nights, air conditioning, a gas stove or a tiled stove can be used in the early or winter season. The two air conditioning units also provide a pleasant coolness in hot weather.
Entertainment is provided by two satellite TVs (one also smart-enabled - for Netflix, for example) and free WiFi (fibre optic). We provide a cot and a high chair for our youngest guests.
The holiday home is also available for long-term rentals, but only for non-smokers (please enquire). Smoking only outside the house
The accommodation is well equipped and bed linen and towels are included.

In Balatonkeresztúr on Lake Balaton, a charming place full of beauty.
Baltonkeresztúr and the closely neighbouring Balatonmariafürdo offer a good infrastructure with many restaurants, shopping facilities, pharmacies, petrol stations, souvenir shops, lido etc.. There is even a disco in Balatonmariafürdö. Everything is within easy walking distance, so you can also enjoy a good wine and a glass of Hungarian Palinka.
There are many excursion destinations nearby, so you can make your holiday very varied. Whether swimming, water sports, hiking, strolling through towns and beautiful weekly markets, the castle in the Mediterranean town of Kesthely, the fantastic thermal baths in Heviz, the Tihany peninsula ... . There's never a dull moment here.

We emigrated to Hungary in January 2023 and are looking forward to living in this beautiful place. We have bought a farmhouse in Balatonszentgyörgy and are in the process of renovating it and also growing a lot in the garden as self-catering. We have also bought a holiday home and are now renting it out. We are 61 and 56 years old and look forward to your visit.
