Beautiful stay on the island
We spent our vacation this year in the holiday apartment Südstrand and are completely satisfied.
Everything we needed was on site.
The apartment is bright and friendly, has shutters for darkening, and even a fly screen is installed in the bedroom.
The location is very quiet, so we could also relax wonderfully on the adjacent terrace. I would especially like to highlight the excellent accessibility of Ms. Wehler, who always helped us quickly and kindly with any questions.
All in all, a successful vacation, thank you very much!

Comfortable holiday apartment near South Beach
We had the pleasure of spending a two-week vacation in the beautiful holiday apartment 'Südstrand' of Mrs. Wehler. From the beginning, we were in good contact with the landlord. We were informed that we could check into the apartment much earlier, which made us very happy. Also, in our case, the departure did not have to be until 10 a.m. Smaller "problems" like the crash of the digital TV program or initially unfindable egg cooker were resolved promptly.
The apartment matches the photos exactly: tastefully and modernly furnished, excellent quality of the furniture, towels, and bed linen, everything super clean.
A highlight is the high double bed with two separate mattresses (each 90 cm wide) and amazing duo toppers! Finally, no more back pain!
The well-equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. The room with a washing machine for all the holiday apartments in the house can be reached via a side staircase.
There is a set schedule for use.
From the sunny terrace, the view sweeps over a large lawn area. It is wonderfully relaxing and allows for observing wildlife. A regular guest was, for example, a rather trusting colorful pheasant. In front of the house, there is a parking lot with not immediately visible numbers on the ground (without any other markings) for the guests of the holiday apartments.
There is also a stand for bicycles.
The access to the apartment is at ground level.
There is one step at the entrance to the shower (very low) and to the terrace (somewhat wider step).
The shower has two settings: water-saving mode and a stronger jet by turning further (discovered a bit later). You can quickly reach the beautiful South Beach with two highly recommended beach huts, at Lidl and along the dike towards East Beach.
We felt very comfortable in this spacious modern holiday apartment and had a good rest on Borkum.

Dreamlike holiday apartment
We have been guests in the "Südstrand" apartment several times and have never been disappointed. The apartment is always very clean, and the amenities leave nothing to be desired. The landlords are always extremely friendly, helpful, and take care of everything personally; there have never been any problems with the booking process or on-site. We always feel very comfortable and can recommend the vacation apartment without reservation.

Top Holiday Apartment
We spent our vacation this year in Borkum in the very beautiful and well-maintained holiday apartment "Südstrand." And as the name suggests, it is right near the gorgeous South Beach.
The interior of the holiday apartment is modern, very well thought out, and coordinated. Everything is available for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The very friendly landlord, Mrs. Wehler, ensures a top-notch support from the beginning – during the inquiry, booking, and all important information – until the start of the vacation.
We highly recommend this apartment for a wonderful and carefree holiday in Borkum!

Fantastic Time
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful vacation apartment! We were particularly impressed by the spacious terrace overlooking the garden! Everything is tastefully decorated, with high-quality materials and a stylish, thoughtful design – really everything has been considered here. The beds are super comfortable – we haven't slept this well in a long time! The furnishings leave nothing to be desired: from the kitchen to the bathroom, everything is of a high standard and very well-maintained. You feel comfortable right away - we will definitely be back!
