The Adambauer Hut is a lovingly renovated alpine dairy hut located in a sunny, peaceful dream location in the middle of the beautiful Nock Mountains at an altitude of 1750 m. Surrounded by blooming alpine meadows, you can enjoy the peace and the unique panoramic view of the mountains of the Ankogel Group with the unforgettable sunset over the glacier, the Hochalmspitze (3,360m). In front of the cabin, there is a BBQ grill for convivial evenings under the open sky. A fireplace in the living area ensures a warm and cozy atmosphere even on cooler days. For guests with small children, a crib and a high chair are available. Parking is available directly in front of the cabin, making arrival and departure particularly convenient. Bed linen is provided, and the cabin is designed as a non-smoking domicile to ensure an allergen-low environment. Long-term rentals are also possible, ideal for those who want to escape everyday life for a while.

The Adambauerhütte is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes in the gentle Nock Mountains, such as the Langenock, Stileck, Rabenkofel... and for the particularly well-trained, even up to the Plattennock and Rosennock (2440 m). During a drive over the 34 kilometer-long Nockalm Road - which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and varied alpine roads - you enjoy the true beauty of Carinthia and enrich your knowledge at the numerous free exhibitions. During your visit to Hohe Tauern National Park, by far the largest nature reserve in the entire Alpine region, you will experience, for example, the Kölnbreinsperre at 1900 meters above sea level, the highest dam in Austria and one of the largest dams in Europe with the unique highlight, the "AIRWalk".
