The entire villa is rented privately and offers privacy since there are no neighbours around.

What to see and where to go:

• Chania – 35-45 minute coastal drive from Kavros- Beautiful Venetian harbor and centuries old Egyptian lighthouse. Fabulous seafood tavernas –lively bistros – nightclubs – countless restaurants – great shopping.A crossroad of civilizations and continents with a long history, natural beauty, unique architecture and rich tradition.

• Lake Kournas–10-12 minute inland drive - Crete’s only freshwater lake –picturesque – aquamarine clear waters – marine turtles - fabulous food in lakeside tavernas.

• Rethymnon–15-20 minute coastal drive - Very old Venetian harbour town, with a lot of history, numerous Byzantine churches and monasteries, enchanting Venetian monuments, the most well-preserved Renaissance city in Greece, with endless beaches, caves, gorges and unique flora and fauna and great food and shopping. Tour the incredible hilltop Fortezza which is a star-shaped, 16th-century citadel and feel the history and enjoy the incredible views.

• Georgioupolis - 14 minute coastal drive - A small fishing village, where you can buy fresh fish from the fisherman and beef, bacon and sausages from the local butcher. With many cafés, tavernas, ATMs. The town square has been renovated with fountains and is surrounded by outdoor seating to enjoy your drinks and ice cream.

• Paralia Kournas (also called Kavros)–5-8 minute drive – has a 10 km long beach. Local town with supermarkets, coffee and cake shops, bars, tavernas, cafes, beach parties and that incredible beach just across the road!

Filaki: A serene, picturesque village known for its lush landscapes and tranquil ambiance by the beach, near Georgioupoli, Kavros and Episkopi Beach.

Nearby you can visit Lake Kournas, the many traditional villages in the area and rent a boat at the nearby harbour village of Georgioupoli.

The Venetian city of Rethymnon is less than a 20 minutes drive and the city of Chania less than 40 minutes.

There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the property.

Located only moments away by car from the nearest beachtowns of Kavros (6 km), Episkopi (5 km), and Georgioupoli (10 km), where you can enjoy the sandy beaches, lovely culinary taverns, cafeterias, shops, and more.

The unique Lake of Kournas is 12 minutes by car ( 9 km), where you can enjoy renting a pedal boat around the Lake or have a meal while admiring the majestic beauty that shines over the Lake and the surroundings.

In 12 minutes (7 km), you can reach the springs of the ancient Lappa village, Argyroupoli, where you can explore the different species of fauna and flora while enjoying a meal in the several taverns or take a walk through the historic village.

The town of Rethymnon is easily reached by car in 15-20 minutes (14-18 km), depending on where in town you want to go. And in 40 minutes (40 km), you have reached the Venetian town of Chania.
