Welcome to the Casa Collina holiday home, located in Sogliano al Rubicone (Emilia Romagna), approx. 25 km from the Adriatic coast in the hilly foothills of the Apennines.
The charming holiday home offers space for 2-4 guests on approx. 72 square metres of living space. It has two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two single beds), a living/dining room, a small kitchen, a daylight bathroom and a storage room.
There are two terraces: A sunny south-facing terrace with views of San Marino and a large covered and shaded north-facing terrace. The large garden is ideal for relaxing.
The small kitchen is well equipped (including gas/electric hob, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, crockery and kitchen utensils). Bed linen, towels and a washing machine are provided and a high chair is available for younger guests. There is also a TV with German programmes for cosy evenings or rainy days. Internet (WLAN) is also available.
The main town of Sogliano al Rubicone with its approx. 3000 inhabitants is 1 km from the house. There are several small shops, three small supermarkets, two bars and several cheese dairies where the strong pecorino cheese Formaggio di Fossa (DOP) matures. There are also several good restaurants in the municipality.
As the house is located in the hilly hinterland at an altitude of approx. 360 metres, the journey time to the beach (Bellaria, Igea-Marina, etc.) is approx. 25 minutes (for around 25 km). There is a public swimming pool with a pool, sun loungers and a small bar about 4 minutes' drive (15 minutes' walk) from the holiday home.
The location offers a good starting point for excursions to the many castles and towns worth seeing in the surrounding area, such as San Marino, San Leo, Verucchio, but also Rimini, Ravenna, Bologna and many more.
If you are looking for peace and quiet away from the tourist hustle and bustle and a beautiful view of the surrounding picturesque landscape, this is the place for you.
The area is also popular with cyclists, Vespa riders and motorcyclists due to the numerous winding roads and sights.
Last but not least, there is the excellent authentic Romagna cuisine, which can be savoured in numerous small restaurants and family-run agriturismos.
