Pleasant holiday home for the whole family. The holiday home is part of the Skottneset holiday center which is located close to the sea in a beautiful and wild coastal landscape surrounded by fjords and mountains. The holiday home has good facilities. From the living room window, you can look out towards the island of Barmen, and straight ahead lies the ocean Stadthavet. On the main floor, there is a newly renovated living room and a pleasant dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, WC with a washbasin and a good and spacious entrance hall. Downstairs there is another living room, 2 bathrooms with shower, WC, and sink, as well as a separate room with WC and sink. Large hallway with storage. From the main floor there are stairs up to the first floor with a hallway and 4 bedrooms; one with a double bed and 3 with two single beds each. The holiday home has electric heating. Internet with fiber 100. The outdoor area has garden furniture, an outdoor fireplace, and a barbecue. Several good fishing spots in the area. For active families, there are many opportunities for great hiking in the mountains and along the water, as well as car trips in the area. Great surfing in Hoddevik and Ervika. Kvamfjellet, the highest mountain on the Selje Peninsula, offers a great view. Nearby is Vestkapp, Norway's westernmost point. The Kannesteinen, a rock cut by the sea just outside Måløy. Kråkenes lighthouse is certainly also worth a visit. The most famous attraction in the area is on the island of Selja. Here we find Selje monastery from the 12th century. There are scheduled boat trips from the village of Selje. The trip takes about 10-15 minutes. If you want to enjoy the sun and lazy days during summer, there is a great beach about 15 km away near the center of Selje. Otherwise, there are good swimming opportunities on site. With a fishing license, you can fish in the salmon and trout river Åheimselva 20 km away. The lake Berstadvannet is 9 km away. Selje is a municipal center with shops, cafes, and restaurants. The nearest grocery store is Joker Flatraket 3.1 km away. Boat for rent: Øyen 620 F with Suzuki 50 HP The boat is at the wharf nearby. Separate large storage and freezer room. Large drying room for clothes. Sauna for rent NOK 600 for 2 hours.

The view from the living room was amazing, overlooking the ocean, We loved waking up to such a beautiful sight every morning, The house itself was spacious and had a nice homey feel,
