At the forest house, our guests will find two levels. On the ground floor, a reception and lounge area with a private fireplace, an apartment, and a communal kitchen create a cozy living atmosphere. The upper floor houses 4 double rooms. Equipped with solid beech wood furniture with a red core in a country style, the living areas offer plenty of feel-good atmosphere at the highest level. The 200-year-old walls invite you to a special relaxing holiday in wonderful nature.
The Eberswalde Forest School Support Association (FWE) e.V. The environmental education facility Wald-Solar-Heim manages the Forsthaus am Nonnenfließ for the Brandenburg State Forestry Office (landlord contact details: Brandenburg State Forestry Office, Forstbetrieb Chorin, Amt Chorin 11, 16230 Chorin. The "Wald-Solar-Heim" as the intermediary of the guesthouse itself has 61 beds and is popular for school trips, conference trips, and family celebrations. The forestry education programs offered by the facility are particularly noteworthy. In addition to the 2 bed houses, there is a central building made of wood and glass, which serves as the reception, catering, and conference venue.

The Brandenburg State Forestry Agency was established in 2009. Its headquarters is located at Heinrich-Mann-Allee 103 in Potsdam. Since 2009, Hubertus Kraut has been the director of the Brandenburg State Forestry Agency. The 14 forestry operations manage the 270,000 hectares of state-owned forest sustainably and on an ecological basis as well as according to business management principles, while maintaining special public service obligations. In addition, they carry out hunting tasks to secure the forest functions in the state forest. Through the forestry enterprises, you can also obtain firewood and game meat.
