GENERAL
The Forest Cottage has a spacious living room with an open kitchen and a large dining table.
There are 4 bedrooms and a bathroom.
Outside the front of the Chalet, there is a large terrace with a partial roof.
Next to the Chalet is parking space for your car.
Behind the Chalet is a storage room with three bicycles, child seats, and outdoor toys.
Through the gate behind the Chalet, you can walk straight into the forest.
The Forest Cottage is a 5-room Chalet for up to 7 people. It is completely ground level and suitable for the disabled.
The Forest Cottage is fully furnished and available for rent by the week in the high season from Friday to Friday. Outside the high season, it is also possible to book a midweek (Mon-Fri) or long weekend (Fri-Mon). LAYOUT

Large terrace in front of the house with canopy, lounge set, seating area with relaxing chairs, and gas barbecue. Behind the cottage, there is another dining table with 4 chairs and a play area with a large trampoline with a safety net.
In the wooden shed, there are 3 bicycles and garden cushions and outdoor toys are stored. This is also where the gas cylinders are stored.
Through the gate in the fence at the back, you walk directly into the forest.
KITCHEN FURNISHINGS
The kitchen unit is equipped with a gas hob and extractor hood, a combi microwave oven, dishwasher, and kettle. In a second block, there are a refrigerator with freezer compartment, a Senseo coffee maker or drip coffee maker, and an electric kettle. There are enough pans, dishes, cups, glasses, and cutlery.
Heating and hot water are provided by a combi boiler on propane gas. The rental includes one full gas bottle.

Kitchen and bed linens can be booked if desired. Pillows and duvets are available. SPECIAL FEATURES
The chalet itself is non-smoking; smoking is allowed under the outside cover.
The "Boshuisje" is located in the camping area of Park De Schatberg. Each booking or per week includes one full gas cylinder. If you need a second gas cylinder, we will exchange it for you. The additional cost for this is €35.00.
Park De Schatberg is a large park with many activities for both young and old. From 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, the barrier at the park entrance is closed.

ABOUT THE PARK
Park De Schatberg is located in North Limburg, a stone's throw from National Park De Groote Peel. The combination of tranquility and various activities for young and old makes this park a pleasant holiday destination for all ages. • Park facilities:

De Schatberg is a 5-star park with lots to do. There are playgrounds for children in various places and there is an animation team. There are three ponds in the park, one of which is a fishing pond and one a swimming pond. The Sports & Play Park is a multifunctional sports field for various sports: football, volleyball, tennis, and basketball. At the Torro playground you will find air trampolines, table tennis tables, and a Jeu de Boules court.
Paid activities in the park are: water skiing, wakeboarding, climbing in the KlimKong, go-karting, paintball, buggy driving, and bicycle rental. The park has an indoor swimming pool with a rapid current and slide, an outdoor pool with a slide, and a water playground (open in good weather). Swimming lake/natural pool, fishing lake, water skiing, paddleboarding, supermarket, various restaurants (pizzeria, snack bar, brasserie with ball pit, and à la carte restaurant), outdoor terrace, plaza with underground theater square, and play forest. There are several playgrounds on the grounds. At the swimming lake, you will find cool play equipment for real daredevils. Next to the swimming lake stands a slide several meters high. Or climb the KlimKong sometime. In short, there are plenty of activities for young and old at the Park itself.
The Family and Entertainment Center (FEC) Sevenum belongs to the Park and is located about 400 meters from the entrance. Go laser gaming, curling, bowling or gaming and dine out here. Discover no less than twelve restaurants under one roof! Enjoy everything the restaurants have to offer for two or three hours with an all-you-can-eat concept. Indoor play paradise for the kids.
THE SURROUNDINGS of the Schatberg have a lot to offer. The most beautiful cycling or walking routes are located in the immediate vicinity. Find peace in the beautiful nature or go out shopping at Outlet Roermond half an hour away, discover cities and villages such as Venlo, Sevenum or Panningen, or visit one of the many museums nearby. If you want to eat easily after an outing, you can, besides at the Schatberg itself or at the FEC Sevenum, also go to the KFC or the McDonald's, which are located within 500 meters of the Schatberg. | The deposit is €150.00 and must be paid with the final rental payment. If there is no damage, the deposit will be refunded within a week after the stay. Dogs (maximum 2) are €5.00 per dog per night. If desired, bed linen can be booked for €5.00 per bed. Bed-making service €2.50 per bed. Towel package (1 large and 1 small towel + washcloth) €3.00 per person. From April 21 to 24 (week 17) the price for a midweek stay is €95 per night, excluding park fees. From June 9 to 19 (weeks 24 and 25) and from September 5 to 25 (weeks 36 to 39) the price for a week, midweek, or weekend is also €95 per night, excluding park fees. Park fees vary by period from €21.35 to €30.15 per night for 4 people (see the last photos in the photo gallery for an overview). These costs are paid to the Schatberg at check-in and cover accommodation fees + swimming pool tickets for all guests and a vehicle access pass. |

Free cancellation possible up to 42 days before the arrival date.
Here is the translation to English: Down payment: 20% of the total rental price is due after accepting the booking if it is more than 6 weeks before the start date. The remaining payment of the total rental price plus a security deposit of €150.00 must be paid 6 weeks before the start date. Park De Schatberg charges park fees. These cover overnight stays, access to the swimming pool, an entry card for the barrier, and use of the park facilities. These costs are included in the price and the lessor will arrange payment for them. In case of cancellation: Up to 6 weeks before the start of the rental period, the down payment will be refunded. Between 6 and 4 weeks before the start, 75% of the total rental amount plus the full security deposit will be refunded. Between 4 and 2 weeks before the start, 50% of the total rental amount plus the full security deposit will be refunded. Within 2 weeks before the start, 25% of the total rental amount plus the full security deposit will be refunded.

We are Edith van de Graaf and Brenda Kruik. Together, we rent out the chalet Het Boshuisje at the 5☆ holiday park De Schatberg in Sevenum (Limburg). Edith also has a seaside cottage that she has been renting out for more than 20 years. She bought the Chalet at de Schatberg in 2023. It was newly built in 2021 and is now fully equipped. Our motto is to make Het Boshuisje comfortable for everyone. Het Boshuisje therefore has an extensive kitchen inventory, a new combination microwave, and a dishwasher. On request, we can provide a baby cot, a high chair, and a changing mat. For the elderly or guests with disabilities, a shower stool is available. Besides Het Boshuisje, we also share a passion for gardening. Brenda has her own vegetable garden, and Edith is always busy making the borders around Het Boshuisje colorful. Along the fence behind the Forest Cottage, thornless blackberries have been planted and if you look carefully, you will even find strawberry plants.
