The porch is accessed via a sun terrace. From there, you have an impressive view over the Tuscan hills and forests. Tuscan cypresses catch your eye immediately.
Through the rustic wooden gate, you enter the large dining/living room with an open, well-equipped kitchen. 6 - 8 people can sit at the central table. Next to the cozy, approx. In this 35 m² large, lively space, there is a master bedroom. In this room too, the ceiling extends up to the ridge of the house. The wrought iron, light blue headboard is the highlight of the room. Here, you will find numerous books about Italy, Tuscany, detective novels, and more.
The adjoining children's room with 1 bunk bed and a single bed is small - life happens outdoors!
The small bathroom looks old, but it is functional and clean. Behind the house, there is a sunny garden terrace with a view of the slope planted with olive trees. Here you can enjoy the warm weather until sunset with a glass of Tuscan wine and watch the stars at night, which are particularly visible in the countryside.
The car can be parked about 100 meters away above the house. A small stony road also leads directly to the house, where you can park as well. The sandy beach is kilometers long, lively, and spacious. Beach bars also rent out deck chairs and umbrellas. Experience breathtaking sunsets almost every day.
Enjoy the nightlife in Donoratico al Mare, the amusement park Cavallo Matto, or the medieval village of Castagneto Carducci with numerous restaurants.
The sleepy town of Monteverdi Marittimo with a grocery store, bar, and 2 restaurants is 3 km away. In 2 hours you can reach highlights such as Volterra, Siena, Florence, and San Gimignano.

Our Casa sul Arcobaleno is located in almost complete seclusion, a 1-hour drive south of Pisa and 2 hours from Florence.
From the long coastal road, exit Donoratico al mare, it heads into the mountains of the hinterland. Passing the typically Italian mountain town of Castagneto Carducci, you reach the solitary house after about 25 minutes on a well-paved road through the Tuscan forest with switchbacks. The small path then branches off to reach the house on the hillside.
The house is in a secluded location on approximately 35,000 m² of forest and meadow land. Due to its hillside location, it offers a beautiful view of the hilly landscape. The nearest neighboring houses are about 200 - 500 m away.
