Holiday house on a hill in maritime surroundings close to the sea. Bed linen, final cleaning and electricity included in the price. Towels must be brought. The holiday home is located in a cottage area in beautiful surroundings on Averøya and has a modern look with large windows and an open living/kitchen area. Internet: fiber, 100 Mbits. TV with German and international channels. 2 bedrooms and loft with 3 beds. The loft is 90 at the side, 190 cm in the middle. The area offers relaxation as well as exciting trips in the archipelago. Here, you can experience the summer dream by the sea and the children make beautiful childhood memories. View towards the Atlantic Road, great mountain hikes to Gulltanna 665 m.a.s.l. and Mekknoken 751 m.a.s.l. Road trips: Bud and Hustadvika National Park 45 km and 29 km. 67 km to Molde and 35 km to Kristiansund. 10 km to lake Hosetvatnet and the river Bådalselva with trout. A short distance to open waters outside the Atlantic Road and to protected waters within. Good fishing: cod, pollock, halibut, etc. 90 meters to the marina where there is a boat for rent. NB! Please book the boat at the same time as booking the holiday home. Boat for rent: 21-foot Øien 620F with 60 HP Suzuki, GPS/chart plotter/sonar, 8 rod holders. Shared filleting bench at the marina. Separate storage room behind the holiday home for storage for fishing equipment and fishing clothing, etc.

We had a relaxing vacation here, The barbecue was a highlight, and it was nice to have a fully equipped kitchen, We’ll definitely consider coming back!

The current situation of the house is nice; there is a view of the sea and the fjord. However, if the houses that are obviously planned are built, this view will no longer be available. The furnishings are currently still somewhat sparse. The dishwasher was missing the salt for one-time use, which we tried to obtain from the surrounding shopping options but did not get. In Norway, this is probably only available in a special store that is 40 minutes away by car, so we washed by hand. With 2 pans, one very small and one large, unfortunately, it was also too little for us. Furthermore, there was no vacuum cleaner available, only a small dustpan with a very small broom. We also missed a kettle. I think a little more investment is needed in the equipment. Otherwise, the furnishings, beds, and towels were fine. Recommendations: Unfortunately, we cannot recommend anything. We were there for fishing. There was no information in the house itself. We would have had to look everything up ourselves on the internet.

We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Home in Averøya! The house was spacious enough for our group of six, and we loved the open kitchen and living area where we could all gather, The terrace was perfect for evening barbecues, and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, It’s close to some great dining options like Bjartmars Favorittkro, which was only a short drive away, The WiFi was reliable, and the kids appreciated the cable TV after a long day of exploring, Highly recommend this place for families looking for a relaxing getaway!
