The place is located between the coastal towns of Betty's Bay and Rooiels on the east side of False Bay, about 85 km southeast of Cape Town, and on the edge of the Kogelberg Nature Reserve.
Particularly worth seeing: the white beach, other activities: hikes around Hangklip, Lighthouse or up to Hangklip Peak, the Broddie Link Trail, or to Rooiels or Round the bay, visiting penguins, Harold Porter Botanical Garden... Wine Estates... for wine connoisseurs, the area is a paradise.

South Africa has various climate zones. The best time to travel to the Cape region should ideally be from around September to April, with November to February (=season) being the warmest months. Pringle Bay is an idyllic, beautiful place, however, it faces two challenges: the wind can be unusually strong at times and the baboons (troops of baboons) that often come into the village looking for food—since part of their habitat was destroyed by fire—intimidate tourists with their appearance in family groups.
