Holiday park Baalse Hei enjoys a beautiful location in the middle of nature reserve de Antwerpse Kempen. The character of the surroundings can be found back in the park itself. It's spacious, there's a lot of shelter and different kinds of natural water, including a swimming, fishing and sailing pond. You can enjoy a beautiful walk without having to leave the holiday park. You'll also find various facilities in the park, like playgrounds, sports fields and a pleasant tavern where you can buy a quick or extensive meal. Of course you can also get the famous local beers Trappist and Corsendonk here.
The area is wonderful for hiking and cycling enthusiasts. In this nature reserve you can choose from approximately 50 different cycling routes, of which about 10 run along holiday park Baalse Hei. The city of Turnhout is like a small version of Antwerp. A short but beautiful bike ride of just 8 km will bring you to the city centre with its many historical sights and restaurants/bars. Antwerp itself can also be reached easily and is 50 km away.
Baalse Hei is the ideal destination for nature lovers with different wishes for an active but relaxing holiday.
