Cozy holiday apartment
We spent a week vacation there. The apartment is cozily furnished, the kitchen offers everything you need. And the location is beautiful, surrounded by forests and meadows. It is not so easy to find, but once you arrive, you are warmly and kindly welcomed by the Friedrich family. Unfortunately, the week passed much too quickly, but we will always fondly remember our time there.

It was a wonderful time spent in Germany :) I would like to thank Friedrich family for the hospitality. I felt like I was visiting my family member. Appartment was so cozy, big, warm, clear and we have everything we need. Apartment has even living room with wonderful view to garden, forest and swimming pool. From living room you were able to go to terrace where was table and chairs for us. Surrounding of appartment was awesome: wonderful garden, singing birds, forest closed to the appartment. cozy holiday home on the edge of the Palatinate Forest
The holiday home Rosi is located in an idyllic setting for nature lovers outside of Hertlingshausen on the edge of the Palatinate Forest. You are warmly welcomed by the renting couple and given a detailed introduction. The house has a large living/dining room, a medium-sized, well-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, oven, and microwave, a small bedroom, and a shower room, as well as a fully equipped, very large terrace with awning and grill. I was even offered the use of the family pool, which is not included in the description. Otherwise, the very nice Altleininger swimming pool at the castle is available. In winter, a rustic, wood-fired tiled stove is available. Upon arrival, I was also greeted with fresh vegetables from the garden and a bottle of wine from the region. The deposit to be paid was back in my account one day after my departure. Towels, toilet paper, dish tabs, etc. Everything was available in sufficient quantity.

Off to the Palatinate!
We were at a running event in Carlsberg and found this beautiful vacation apartment. The location is right in nature; you can start hiking or biking or whatever directly from the front door. The Friedrichs warmly welcome the guests and provide a thorough introduction. The apartment is pleasant and fully furnished. Large living/dining room, big kitchen, completely equipped, bedroom a bit cramped, but that's okay, you just sleep there. Large, fully furnished terrace, which we unfortunately could only use limited due to the still cool temperatures.
We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. Recommendation!!!

Hosts Eckhard and Elke Friedrich have lived for over four decades in the quaint Carlsberg, in the district of Hertlingshausen. Together, they have four children, who have since all left home, as well as five grandchildren, who bring them great joy. They also share their home with their beloved pets, which include a dog, chickens, ducks, and sheep. Not only within the family, but also in the community, the Friedrichs are active and engaged. As passionate scouts, they lead a local group, thus fostering a sense of community and a connection to nature among both young and old. In their free time, Eckhard and Elke enjoy hiking and mountain biking tours in the picturesque surroundings. These diverse activities and their love for the community make Eckhard and Elke Friedrich truly special hosts who welcome their guests with open arms and big hearts.
