Situated in the Alt Penedès wine region, in the forest-rich mountains of Catalonia, surrounded by stunning natural beauty, this is the perfect place for families or couples to disconnect and immerse in nature. Here, you can enjoy the tranquility of the Spanish Mediterranean climate, with warm sunny days and cool, refreshing nights.
The accommodation offers a space of around 1000 square meters where you can experience full independence and privacy. The setting features two separate buildings on either side of the big natural swimming pool. One building includes a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and a generous bathroom, while the other serves as your bedroom, complete with an en-suite toilet for added convenience. The Natural Pool House accommodates 2 adults and 2 children.
The expansive outdoor area surrounding the natural pool has multiple terraces and cozy seating where you can relax and enjoy the typical sunny Spanish weather.
The entire property, including the beautifully renovated houses and pool, has been carefully restored over the last years. We’re thrilled to open our doors to guests for the very first time in 2025!

Our Masia with an independent guest residence is located in the municipality of Mediona, part of the Alt Penedès region in the province of Barcelona. Named in honor of the nearby Mediona river, the house is situated just a short walk from its banks. Located 500 meters above sea level, it is surrounded by lush mountain forests between the two charming villages of Sant Quintí de Mediona and Sant Joan de Mediona, both about 4 kilometers away. The guest apartment offers complete privacy with its own entrance and parking. It also has a spacious private area with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the ancient Mediona Castle, which is over 1000 years old. The immediate area is ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, nature walks, and mountain biking through forests and vineyards. You'll also find many quaint towns nearby, perfect for a peaceful visit. Penedès Wine Region
The Penedès region is famous for its wine production and is one of the oldest wine-producing areas in Europe. Almost all of Spain's cava (sparkling wine) is produced here, making it one of the country's leading wine regions. The area is divided into Baix Penedès (lower part), along the coast; Central Penedès; and Alt Penedès (upper part), where our Masia is located. Alt Penedès is known for producing wines of exceptional quality, albeit in smaller quantities. Many wineries, both large and small, open their doors daily for tours, tastings, and direct sales. Throughout the season, bike and car tours are organized to visit various vineyards, offering a wide range of culinary experiences related to wine. Whether you are a wine enthusiast or simply enjoy beautiful landscapes, the Penedès region is a perfect destination to discover the rich wine heritage of Spain.

We are Jeroen and Jennifer, a Dutch couple that has been living in Catalonia since 2016. Over the past years, we worked hard renovating the swimming pool with a holiday home, and we hope to share this unique place with you.
