It’s a quiet place with large personal spaces. And also near the river. The front door of our house is very comfortable that we could stay on the chair for a long time

When booking, I make sure to choose a cottage by the water with a view of the lake. The description, photos, and prices of the cottages on the website give the impression that I have that option. Upon arrival, I receive a cottage with the back facing a dead-end ditch and a view of other cottages without privacy. When I inquire, I'm told that it's due to bungalowspecials and that nothing can be done about it, and that all other cottages are fully booked. In the days that follow, it turns out that this is completely untrue. Only 2 cottages are inhabited. It is also indicated that the cottages shown on the website are privately owned and not available for rent (why are they prominently displayed on the website then?). No further interest in my complaint. No cooperation in finding a solution, even though this seems possible with a cottage with a terrace by the water (not by a lake). Deception on the website regarding expectations, resulting in a poor price/quality ratio and disappointing experience.
