Description
In our 170-year-old original Upper Lusatian Umgebindehaus, you will find individually and lovingly furnished holiday apartments. With the Bett+Bike logo, we also recommend ourselves to all cycling tourists. The holiday apartment "Landliebe" is approximately 37m² in size and suitable for 2 people (additional bedding available). It features a living room with flat screen TV, DVD player, telephone, and internet connection; a new, well-equipped kitchenette; a new daylight bathroom with a real glass shower, hairdryer, and shower towels; and a bedroom that can also be equipped with a full range of baby and toddler gear upon request. The vacation apartment "Landlust" for 4 people (additional bedding possible) is about 47 m² in size, slightly larger, featuring 2 bedrooms, a large and very well-equipped eat-in kitchen, and a shower room with a large real glass shower that has a walk-in entry. If desired, a complete set of baby and toddler equipment is available for you. The apartments can be rented together and then have a separate entrance, an additional common room, and a small front house with a wardrobe and shoe dryer. The apartments are located with a view of our large garden. Here, your (grand)children will surely find many opportunities to play. A swing, climbing tower with slide, a sandbox, bicycles, and sleds are available for this purpose. In the 1800m² garden, you will also find a quiet spot with sun loungers, a seating area, and a grill. We are happy to fulfill your wishes. Take advantage of our services: bread roll and drink service, shopping on arrival day, evening childcare by arrangement, cleaning of the holiday apartment, and much more. Enjoy fresh local products such as homemade jams, local beekeeper's honey, and eggs from "happy" chickens. You deserve this vacation! Breakfast and garage parking are available for booking, free parking is available on our premises.

Location and surroundings of object
Our property is located in the small rural district of Saalendorf about 1 kilometre from the climatic health resort of Jonsdorf, the resort of Waltersdorf and the textile village of Großschönau. Large gardens, wide meadows and fields very close to the forest characterise the immediate surroundings with a view of the highest mountain of the Zittau Mountains, the Lausche. Not far from our house, about a 15-minute walk away, is the Trixipark with climbing forest, forest beach bath, adventure pool and wellness temple. Hiking trails start right in front of your door and lead you into an extraordinary landscape of Umgebindehäuser (half-timbered houses), which are unique in Europe. Charming sandstone formations, magnificent views and beautiful, well-maintained hiking trails invite you to discover nature. In the far south-east of Saxony, in Upper Lusatia, lies the resort of Waltersdorf in the middle of the Zittau Mountains Nature Park. The uniqueness of our Umgebindehäuser (half-timbered houses) with their sandstone door frames, log cabins and typical front gardens will delight you. You can experience many things here. Whether it's a day at the Trixi all-weather pool with its wellness area, a climbing tour in the sandstone, hikes on foot, by bike or ski, or a ride on the steam-powered narrow-gauge railway, a visit to the Jonsdorf Butterfly House. A wide variety of holiday experiences in a small space will make your holiday an unforgettable experience for the whole family. You will find a wide range of activities for the whole family in the village. For example, a great hands-on exhibition about our nature park, the newly created nature park garden, a coffee shop with a coffee roastery, a farm with a farm shop, museums and factory outlets. A trip to the cities of Görlitz and Bautzen offers city lovers a great destination, as does the golden city of Prague. The border triangle is waiting to be discovered

Our holiday flats "Landlust" and "Landliebe" can be booked together or separately. The two flats are located on one floor which you then have for your sole use. New for our guests is a small breakfast and common room in the house, which is also available to you and offers an alternative overnight accommodation for your visitors on request. Very nice location to spent near Lužické hory / Zittauer Gebirge.
Everything is in walking/train distance. Having a car is even more convince of course.
Very nice accommodation, cozy, clean with everything we needed.

We spent a few wonderful days here and were completely satisfied.
It is clean, the amenities leave nothing to be desired, and you feel comfortable right away.
The hosts are always approachable and gladly provide tips and suggestions.
A selection of drinks and jars of honey and jams are gratefully accepted, as well as the bread roll service.
Those who are good on foot can reach Jonsdorf and the surrounding rocks from the vacation apartment in 20 to 30 minutes, great!
