Here you can recharge your batteries for your discovery tour in and around Weimar. We offer quiet accommodation in the countryside - without street noise and hustle and bustle, but still just a stroll away from Weimar's city centre. Your holiday home is located in an idyllic garden in the south of the city between Ilmpark and Belvedere Palace. Here you will find rest and relaxation after a culturally eventful day. You can also experience art here - a Weimar painter presents a selection of her paintings in the holiday home.
Enjoy mild summer evenings on the covered terrace with a view of the 900 m² garden with fruit trees and berry bushes that invite you to snack. On our sunbathing and barbecue area you can indulge in culinary delights (e.g. with a home-grilled Thuringian bratwurst) or simply doze off in the sun.
The holiday home is ideal for couples and families. Dogs can play and romp around in the garden. You are undisturbed, the entire complex is reserved just for you.
You can bring your pet with you free of charge by prior arrangement (the garden is completely fenced). For reasons of hygiene, please bring your own bed linen. The holiday home is suitable for 2 to 4 people.

Location and surroundings of object
Weimar is a charming city known for its rich culture and history. The holiday home Kunst und Garten is located in the Weimar-Ehringsdorf district, in the "Unterm Tälchen" gardens on Belvederer Allee.
In the immediate vicinity is the "Haus Hohe Pappeln", which the Belgian architect and designer Henry van de Velde (1863 - 1957) had built according to his own plans and lived in with his family until 1917.
The Ilm Park with Goethe's garden house and many other sights or Belvedere Palace with the orangery and the beautiful palace park are each a 20-minute walk away. Within a radius of 1.5 km there are several cafés and restaurants, bakeries, a pharmacy, a supermarket with butcher's shop and a savings bank. The nearest cycle paths (Ilmtal and Feininger cycle paths and the Thüringer Städtekette long-distance cycle path) are approx. 800 m from the holiday home. You can reach the city centre by car in 5 minutes, by bike in 10 minutes, by city bus in 15 minutes or on foot in 30 minutes. The nearest bus stop "Hainfels" is only a few minutes' walk away (approx. 200 m) with a direct connection (line 1) to Weimar city centre.
Coming by car from the A4 motorway, it is only a 15-minute drive to the holiday home. You will receive detailed directions together with your booking confirmation.

Relaxed vacation with dog
A great holiday home with a fenced garden for personal use. The terrace is large and covered, plenty of space for the dog as well. We like the connection to Weimar, where you can leave the car. There's always a lot going on in Weimar. That was not our last vacation in Weimar, we will come back.
