Discover the beauty of the Algarve and enjoy an unforgettable stay at Casa ELDESTIJO.
Casa ELDESTIJO is located in Santa Luzia, a beautiful and authentic fishing village on the Portuguese Algarve coast. The well-known town of Tavira is just around the corner (2.5 km). Santa Luzia is considered the capital of octopus fishing and is known for its quiet, pristine sandy beaches on the islands. For nature lovers, explorers of the Portuguese lifestyle, lovers of long hikes or bike rides, this area is a "must". Santa Luzia offers a relaxed atmosphere with many small restaurants at reasonable prices. There are several small shops, a pharmacy, banks and bakeries.
Our house offers a magnificent view of the Ria Formosa as well as the sea. The apartment is designed for up to 4 people and is equipped with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open kitchen, living room and a large patio. The modern and simple design with large, floor-to-ceiling windows provide plenty of light and unforgettable views of the water.
All bedrooms are furnished with comfortable beds and quality linens. A baby high chair is available. There is also a washing machine, an iron and a hairdryer.
Long-term rentals are possible and we ask for your understanding that this is a non-smoking apartment.

Our house is located in Santa Luzia, close to the fishing port and the Ria Formosa. The beautofil town of Tavira is only a stone's throw away (approx. 2.5 km). Faro Airport (FAO) is about 35 minutes away.

It is really pleasant in the apartment of Bastian and Anne.
Fully equipped and in a beautiful location.
The view remains fascinating,
even in bad weather.
The contact with the landlord could not be better.
Responds very quickly.

For the first time in this beautiful apartment.
Everything is there to make you feel at home!
Wonderful view, always something to see and yet quiet.
The house has a good sun exposure, which is especially nice in winter.
Friendly landlord who responds very quickly to questions.
Highly recommended!!

Mei in Santa Luzia
For us now the second time in this beautiful location and the small village of Santa Luzia. Here you will find everything you need to rest and enjoy, the simplicity of the village makes it so rich, the people so nice. For a delicious coffee on the corner among the villagers, you don't have to go far, out the door and less than 50 meters away. The wonderfully quiet and beautiful beach, with the ferry you can be at the ticket office in less than 10 minutes with a smile as well as the two boatmen. The apartment is perfectly furnished, the balcony with a wonderful view over the salt pans and the water with the various fishing boats. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the sunset from the rooftop terrace (be careful!) and if you don't mind getting up early... the rising sun. Afterwards there are often warm rolls from the mini supermarket in the neighboring street. Perfect place to relax. If you like it a bit livelier, you can, for example, go to Tavira or Olhão. We will definitely come back here for the third time. Just SUPER.

Casa ELDESTIJO was designed and newly built in 2018. Since 2023, Anne & Bastian from Munich, Germany are running the house. Due to their work in IT as well as in the aviation industry for a large international airline, both have traveled together to many impressive countries around the globe. Despite the exciting insight views and new cultures, Anne & Bastian have been returning to Portugal and especially to the region around Tavira ever since, where they now regularly spend time with their families.
