Welcome to our beautiful holiday home "Strandliebe", idyllically located in Schillig on the North Sea, just 300 m from the North Sea dike and the sandy beach behind it. With 85 square meters of living space, our house accommodates up to 4 guests plus a cot for infants. It has two bedrooms and one bathroom, ideal for families or two couples.
The allergy-friendly, pet-free, non-smoking house is surrounded by a fenced garden, which invites you to relax and play. A parking space is available for your vehicle. Enjoy the fresh North Sea air on our west terrace or relax in our infrared cabin after a long day at the beach.
The holiday home is fully equipped and leaves nothing to be desired with its approx. 85 m². The fully equipped kitchen includes not only a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker but also a ceramic stove with oven, refrigerator, and a separate small freezer, so you can cater for yourself during your stay. Additionally, a washing machine is available free of charge. For our smallest guests, we offer a crib and a high chair.
In the bedrooms, you will find comfortable double beds (180x200cm and 200x200cm). The comforters are made of anti-allergy hollow fibers and have a comfort size of 155x220cm. Optional laundry packages can be booked separately. A child's travel crib with a separate mattress can be easily added free of charge in one of the bedrooms.
For entertainment, there is a TV and free WiFi is also available. An iron and a hairdryer are also provided. The interiors are furnished with white wooden furniture, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. Large windows allow plenty of light in, and throughout the house, there are shutters and fly screens to protect you from annoying pests.
A handcart can be booked for an additional charge.
A special highlight is the beach chair included in the price on Schillig's sandy beach during the designated times set by the spa administration. Your bicycles can be kept dry in the log cabin.
The area around Schillig offers numerous recreational activities. Enjoy long walks on the beach, bike rides through the countryside, or explore nearby towns like Wilhelmshaven, Jever, or Wittmund.

The walks along the kilometer-long sandy beach of Schillig will fascinate you.
Schillig is not only beautiful in the summer. Every season has its special features and attractions. In spring, it's the clear salty air and the chatter of wild geese, in autumn the first autumn storms, combined with the "bird migration days". Winter with the icing of the Wadden Sea National Park, where high ice floes often pile up, has its charm for the nature lover.

Very cozy accommodation
Such a loving, cozy, and well-equipped temporary home. It is truly highly recommended.
With a children's play area, infrared sauna, many books and games, and a lot of warmth.
We will gladly come back.

Beautiful accommodation in a good location
Large enough for a family with 2 children or for 4 adults. One immediately notices that the house has been furnished with a lot of love. There was also a small token of appreciation waiting for us. We found the house in a well-cleaned condition. Small details like occasional dust threads on the ceiling can probably never be completely avoided. Nothing is really missing, whether it's the more than fully equipped kitchen, with all kitchen gadgets down to the toothpick, the bathroom with shampoo, shower gel, and the like (in case something was forgotten), Q-tips, band-aids, hairdryer, even a hot water bottle, etc., or the living room with a whole shelf full of board games, or the 2 bedrooms, which have comfortable beds and spacious wardrobes. The distance to the beach is also great. Directly in front of the dike is an AWO holiday village, a mother-child rehabilitation clinic, and a youth hostel a few meters away. We had the experience that it absolutely depends on who visits these facilities. A very large group of young people was in the AWO holiday village. In the afternoons, everyone was at the beach and occasionally played music very loudly.
What we noticed negatively in the house, among other things, is the shower; it is really very small. The doors of the shower cabin unfortunately do not close completely, so water inevitably escapes during every shower, which is exacerbated by the slowly draining water. One should not look too closely in some places because things were done unprofessionally (cables somehow pulled through the walls afterwards and, for example, hung on the facade of the conservatory, gaps between the panels on the bedroom ceiling taped up with adhesive tape. . . What we really had a problem with were the countless Christian images, decorations, brochures, CDs, books. On vacation, we seek relaxation and not our faith. I would like to highlight, in conclusion, the consistently very friendly contact!

Overall assessment
The house is perfectly equipped and tastefully and lovingly furnished in detail. Everything that makes the stay practical and pleasant is available (from dishwasher tablets to sufficient garbage bags) - all in exemplary order and easy to find.
A few downsides: 1. The pillows are significantly too hard and extremely uncomfortable.
2. The bathroom is very cramped, especially the shower cubicle.
3. The rooms are completely overloaded with Bible verses, conversion appeals, etc. A holiday home should, in our opinion, be designed neutrally in this regard, open to all religions and (of course, non-radical) worldviews! But: We still felt very comfortable there, thank you for that!

Vacation in House "Beach Love"
The house has a feel-good character, even though in my opinion there are too many biblical sayings on the walls. However, that can be easily overlooked. The furnishings are practical and lovingly decorated, and the kitchen is equipped with pretty much everything needed for self-catering. Even though we traveled without children, it is clear that children are welcome in this house. We spent a relaxing and quiet vacation here.
