Visit our log cabin, completed in 2022, located in the heart of the Zittau Mountains.
Our spacious holiday home offers maximum comfort:
Cozy living space with a modern kitchen, bedroom with dressing area, and a large bathroom with double sinks and a walk-in shower. Clay walls provide a cozy climate in the living and sleeping areas.
We provide amenities for families with children. Experience our vacation home as the ideal place for a family vacation, a romantic weekend for two, or a hiking holiday with friends. Its wooden construction with a fireplace creates a warm and cozy atmosphere where you will feel completely comfortable.

Our log cabin is the ideal starting point for various recreational activities, such as skiing and biking tours, as well as extended walks and hikes, in one of the most beautiful regions of Germany.
In the impressive sandstone formations of the Zittau Mountains, not only is climbing possible, but the area has long been considered an insider tip among mountain bikers.

The perfect vacation ...
We felt very comfortable in the house 'Edmundshütte'. Specifically:
- the house is very modern and spacious and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of amenities
- the property is very large and quietly located in nature
- from here, you can easily reach Oybin with its attractions on foot
- the narrow-gauge railway station is also within walking distance, and you can take the train to Zittau or Oybin.
- in the village, there are bakeries, supermarkets, etc. Also summary: the perfect vacation!

Easter holidays from MV
We spent a very restful and eventful vacation in this house with our granddaughter and daughter. We would be very happy to come back and recommend it to our family and friends. The quiet location is optimal, and all our excursions were very quickly accessible, whether by car, on foot, or by the small train.

Fantastic Holiday Home
Top-equipped holiday home, we lacked for nothing. The location is perfect for hiking in the nearby area. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the narrow-gauge railway station and about 10 minutes to the nearest bakery. The landlords are super nice, and we felt completely comfortable.

Everything's great!
Generously, modern, and lovingly equipped and furnished holiday home; starting point for numerous hiking routes directly from the house in every season; very personal contact with attentive and pleasant landlords; everything just fits! After our second visit, we are well on our way to becoming regular guests.
