We are happy to assist you with tips and advice for planning your vacation, including some that you won’t find in the guidebook. . .

And if, for once, the weather isn’t so sunny, you can sweat it out in our sauna, which you can reach directly from your bathroom. A selection of games and a billiard table are also available. We are happy to pick up guests arriving by train at the Hanerau-Hademarschen station, 5 km away, and bring your luggage home to your holiday apartment. If you wish, we can also bring two e-bikes there for you, or the public bus will take you to within 1 km of the holiday apartment.

The leisure activity "kitesurfing" refers to the North Sea coast near Meldorf, 32km away.
Standup paddling is possible just 6km away on the Eider River.
Right from the doorstep you can go fishing, cycling, hiking, also great with a dog.
We can also agree on different arrival times, depending on prior and following bookings - we need at least 4 hours for cleaning.

Erholung pur

Sehr nette Gastgeber, Natur pur mit Aussicht auf Fähre und Schiffe, auch der Hund war willkommen. Direkt ab dem Haus kann zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad zu Ausflügen gestartet werden.

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious :-)))

The apartment "Backbord" is lovingly designed.
The kitchen is very well equipped with all appliances, even an egg cooker is available.
The bed is very cozy. One can snuggle nicely into the bedding and watch the ships on the North-East Sea Canal (better than watching TV, which is also possible).
Our little dog was also totally satisfied. The basket was perfect and there was a lot to sniff in the garden.
Our highlight was the meals with a view of the canal. In the area, there are some excursion destinations, and the ferry house Fischerhütte is also very suitable for cycling tours. Maria and Knut are wonderful hosts. Thank you :-)

Even if readers might feel bored reading the same thing, I can only leave the best here.
The landlords' own website is already amazing; you can hardly get more information in advance.
The apartment is simply class, not to repeat everything that has already been written.
Everything is very lovingly and guest-friendly furnished, and the creativity used in it is unbeatable.
Maria and Knut are great hosts. It couldn't have been more beautiful. It was a great time.
And that's why we're coming back next year.

Very nice relaxation!

Well-equipped accommodation, very large apartment with a big bathroom,
Ideal for dogs as it is fenced with doors on all sides.
Parking for the car right next to it.
And the most important thing.
Super nice landlords, we felt immediately "at home."
We and our Rocky can only consider this accommodation as first-class
and wish Maria and Knut continued success!

Perfect for ship watching

Super location at the North Sea-Baltic Sea Canal.
We were there with our dog and had a very nice time.
From the terrace, we could watch many large
ships. The holiday apartment was a dream, spotlessly clean, everything you need is there, and wonderfully furnished with a lot of love. The bed was very comfortable. We also thought it was great that the beds were nicely made and towels were in the bathroom. There is even a washing machine and dryer. Absolutely top-notch, our landlords were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every chat with them. A real insider tip.

Wonderful

The ferry house Fischerhütte, located directly on the NOK, is a very special (in the most positive sense) accommodation. "Watching boats" from the sofa or from the bed, where else can you find something like that? The apartments are lovingly and thoughtfully equipped down to the smallest detail, both in terms of design and practical use. Additionally, very friendly and accommodating landlords. Recreation with added value

We found a lovingly, stylishly, and high-quality furnished, fully equipped holiday apartment. The view of the canal is unbeatable. The detailed information on the landlords' homepage was helpful in preparing and during the stay. Gladly again

The holiday apartment, located directly on the canal, is furnished with great attention to detail. Anyone who enjoys watching passing ships will feel right at home here, and even in winter, it's a pleasant pastime. The landlords are very nice and uncomplicated; we were warmly welcomed, and dogs are well taken care of as well, with bowls, a dog bed, and even water and towels for cleaning the furry noses. We liked it so much that we spontaneously extended our stay by a day.

It was dreamy!

We really enjoyed our stay with you. Whether we watched the boats in or in front of the vacation apartment or explored the surroundings, it was a dream. The vacation apartment is very tastefully and comfortably furnished. The hosts, Knut and Maria, are very friendly and helpful. A special feature is that we were even allowed to bring our Bernese Mountain Dog, which is not a given, as often only smaller dogs are accepted. Thank you again for the wonderful time!

Ships in the Garden

We stayed there for a week and are traveling home with the most beautiful memories and pictures. The apartment is incredibly lovingly designed. We hardly used the TV – the view of the water and the passing ships is much more fascinating. On the covered and wind-protected terrace, we were able to relax for a long time even in October. We promise: we will come back and send all our friends to you.

Just a vacation

We were guests in the holiday home Fischerhütte directly at the NOK between September 21 and September 28. We can really only report good things. The equipment is simply very good, and the view of the NOK is just beautiful. One feels the ships are incredibly close. The interior is really nicely designed. The reconstructed bridge is simply wonderful. We were greeted by the landlord, and throughout the week, all our questions were promptly answered or missing items provided by the landlord. We were also able to securely store our e-bikes. In conclusion: Simply awesome, we will come back.

Hello from the land between the seas. We discovered the Fährhaus Fischerhütte in 2021 and could hardly believe that such a beautiful house in such a special location had been empty for 5 years. For us it was clear right away: This is it! Ideal for our plans to live in a beautiful place ourselves while also letting others share in it. In the summer of 2024, after a long phase of planning, approval, renovation, and design, it was finally time: the first of the two holiday apartments was ready. We are looking forward to welcoming guests. Being hosts has accompanied us through life: most recently for 15 years as hostel parents at a youth hostel located on an 800-year-old castle-like site in the city of Mühlhausen in Thuringia. The great part about being hosts? That one keeps being reminded of how good one has it, so that it never becomes taken for granted.
