Welcome to the Kellerei5 Apartment 1 in Ochsenfurt! With 50 square meters of living space, one bedroom, and one bathroom, this apartment accommodates up to three guests. Surrounded by green trees and a picturesque landscape, this apartment is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday.
The apartment is equipped with a variety of amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The kitchen is equipped with a modern kitchenette, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and coffee machine to facilitate meal preparation.
The cozy bedroom is furnished with comfortable beds and high-quality bedding. A television is also available to provide entertainment. A high chair is available for our youngest guests. The bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer. The apartment also features a wall charging station for electric cars, making it particularly attractive to environmentally conscious travelers. Please note that this is a non-smoking apartment.
The city is surrounded by a beautiful landscape, with green vineyards, blooming flowers along the banks of the Main. The interiors are equipped with high-quality furniture, warm wood, and comfortable textiles, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Our two holiday apartments are located in a heritage-protected building from the 16th century. It is only a 2-minute walk to the market square with our "new" town hall.
The building was completely renovated between 2013 and 2019. During this process, modern living comfort was combined with the extensive preservation of the historic structure. The use of clay and lime materials has created a healthy indoor climate.
Our two-story gabled house dates from the 16th century. Century and was a beneficiary house until the mid-18th century. From about 1900 to the mid-20th century, it was used as a wagon-making shop.

Location and surroundings of object
A charming town in Bavaria, known for its medieval architecture.
Ochsenfurt is located in the very south at the tip of the Main Triangle. The historic old town with its two gates, five towers, the "old" and the "new" town halls, the main street with lovingly restored half-timbered houses, and the many picturesque alleys has a very special charm. In the southwestern corner of the nearly completely preserved fortification, the Nikolausturm and the protruding Dicke Turf can be seen from afar. The adjacent multi-story rubble stone building (built in the 14th century) with its figurine-occupied stepped gable and the surrounding houses formed the palatium of the Würzburg Cathedral chapter. Beneath the buildings are huge, partly two-story, wine cellars. The "Episcopal Autumn Lord" ensured annually that the farmers delivered the wine on time. Unfortunately, the large press house was demolished in 1862. The town mayor once lived in the front building. Furthermore, the cathedral chapter's official cellar (CELLARIUS) was set up there. The street name "Kellereistraße" still reminds us of the use of the Palatium.
