The comfortable, newly renovated, well-equipped holiday flat approx. 80m² , is located on the outskirts of Wattendorf in a quiet location, bordering directly on fields, meadows and forests.
Suitable for 5 persons.
Wattendorf is situated in the northern part of the Franconian Jura on the high plateau (530m) of the Jura mountains between Bamberg and Bayreuth, on the edge of Franconian Switzerland.
Hiking trails pass by the front door, and the network of cycle paths in Franconian Switzerland and the upper Main valley is also close by. Switzerland and the upper Main valley.
A golf course is 15 minutes away. Open-air swimming pool in 10 min. - Thermal bath Bad Staffelstein in 10 min. World cultural heritage Bamberg nearby, 2 brewery restaurants directly in front of the door.

The royal seat of Coburg, with the Veste Coburg to the north (approx. 40 km)
Bayreuth in the east, with the outstanding festival theatre on the green hill, the Hermitage at the gateway to the Fichtel Mountains.

Enjoying and hiking in Franconian Switzerland
We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in the house at Jura. A beautiful apartment that is excellently equipped, has comfortable beds, and offers plenty of space. Everything is very clean, well-maintained, and tastefully furnished. From the apartment, it's a 200-meter walk to the two breweries in the village. In the vicinity of Wattendorf, we took very nice trips to places like the Kleinziegenfeld Valley, Paradise Valley, Bad Staffelstein, or Bamberg. Hosts Nickolaus and Ingrid always had very good tips for us. We will come again next year!

Recreation and tranquillity
A very nice clean holiday flat, which is very well equipped. The landlords are very nice sympathetic people who make you feel very comfortable
The location is perfect for hiking and cycling.
We will be happy to come back.

Wonderful holiday
We spent a week with our grandson in the Haus am Jura. From the extremely warm welcome by the daughters of the house to the nice encounters with the landlords and the absolutely great flat, which was clean and comfortable down to the last detail, we can only report positive things. We liked it so much that we will be back next year.

House on the Jura
We spent 10 days at Haus Am Jura. It was very nice there. The welcome was warm and also very friendly throughout the days. We had everything we needed. The flat is very well equipped. The family is very kind and accommodating. We would come again and again. Thank you very much for everything.
