The holiday home was rebuilt in 1996 on the foundations of a barn.
Renovation of the holiday apartment began in 2005 and was completed in 2006.
The comfortably furnished holiday home and the adjacent natural meadow with a stream and play options for both adults and children invite you to stay.

Location and surroundings of object
Rinnthal, charmingly located in the Queich Valley, is surrounded by bizarre red sandstone rocks and has a beautiful forest-rich environment.
An ideal starting point for marked hikes and bike rides along the Queich Valley paths. Numerous castles and ruins can be explored in the vicinity. The train station, which is just about a 5-minute walk away and offers hourly connections in both directions, invites you to a stress-free relaxation without a car. The nearby Alsace can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. Starting and finishing point for motorcycle tours, as Rinnthal is located at the entrance of the Palatinate Forest.

Wonderful holiday home in the most beautiful nature
We spent five beautiful days in this small, sweet village and felt very comfortable in Petra and Michael's holiday home.
The house was clean, spacious, and pleasantly cool despite the summer temperatures. We particularly liked the many windows. The kitchen was also modern and well-equipped, and with a dishwasher and washing machine, everything we needed for our stay was there. There is also a beautiful garden (with a stream and a nice opportunity for an outdoor dinner), which we enjoyed using.
The terrace is shared with the landlords and is also the entrance to the house. This did not bother us at all – on the contrary: Petra and Michael were very nice, and we quickly started a conversation.
We are musicians, and upon arrival, the idea quickly arose to give a spontaneous concert during our stay. This allowed us to get to know some Rinnthalers – a really beautiful and special experience.
Despite the music, neither the neighbors nor our landlords felt disturbed. We were always in contact with Petra and Michael because it was important to us not to disturb anyone. It was all the nicer that we felt very welcome from the beginning and that the communication with both was really pleasant and uncomplicated.
We also liked the surroundings. Nature is beautiful and is wonderfully suited for hiking. At night it is wonderfully quiet and very dark.
Overall, we felt very welcome here and had a nice time in Rinnthal. Thank you very much to Petra and Michael!
