Our newly furnished holiday apartment in 2024, with a separate entrance, is located in a very quiet area in the village of Olbersdorf, the gateway to the Zittau Mountains.
Enjoy a beautiful view of the entire mountain range of the smallest low mountain range in Germany.
Our bright and friendly holiday apartment is designed for four people and is spread over two floors. The apartment has an open living and kitchen area, two bedrooms with double beds, a large entrance area, as well as one bathroom per floor. The bathrooms are equipped with a toilet and shower.
On the terrace, which is directly connected to the garden, you can end a beautiful vacation day with a fantastic view of the mountains.
Due to its central location, countless leisure activities are available. Whether hiking, mountain biking, climbing, trail running, a ride on the narrow gauge railway, or a swim in Lake Olbersdorf, all these activities can start right outside the front door.
As an actively sporty family, we can always give many tips for small adventures in the Zittau Mountains.

Idyl in the proximity of nature
We stayed in a very lovingly and newly furnished vacation apartment during our time in the Zittau Mountains. Contact with the renting family was always possible. The proximity to nature and the peace in the area are ideal for hikers or families.
We will come back.

Wide views, tranquility, and a cozy vacation apartment in beautiful nature - that's how we relax :-)
The well-furnished and comfortably equipped holiday apartment is located on the outskirts of Olbersdorf in an extension of the Kunze family's house with its own access. We were warmly welcomed and felt very at home, especially with the delicious homemade jam and fresh chicken eggs! ?
We could contact Jana and Holm Kunze at any time and received tips for cycling to Zittau (approx. 4 km by bike) and for worthwhile hikes in the Zittau Mountains.
We could safely and dryly store our bicycles in the garage. The little things made the difference compared to other holiday apartments, making it very personal and cozy:
- real houseplants in the apartment
- loving and stylish furnishings and design of the holiday apartment
- fully equipped kitchen
- seat cushions for chairs and sun loungers on the terrace
- many different lamps in all rooms, providing individual and cozy lighting options
- a cuddle blanket for the couch
However, our highlight was the seating area on the terrace and the garden at the edge of the field with a view of the mountains and the village! We even saw a few deer very close to the fence!
We felt very comfortable here, and the suddenly somewhat cool and wet (late) summer weather was quite bearable for us!
For everyone looking for peace and relaxation a bit off the beaten path, we can only recommend this vacation apartment!
