Description
Our manor house offers space for up to 20 guests on 540 square meters of living area, spread over 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It is located on a 6000 sqm property in the small community of Ganzlin in the Mecklenburg Lake District, very close to Lake Plau. We renovated and refurnished the house, built in 1914 and used as a school until 2010, over a period of 3 years. The house is equipped with an unusual ship-shaped kitchen, which, due to its size, has taken over an entire living area. The former show kitchen offers 2 induction cooktops, 4 ovens (including a steam oven and a sous vide oven), 2 refrigerators, a freezer, and 2 dishwashers. We have furnished the kitchen with seating so that the cooks can be encouraged and cheered on while they work. The living room offers plenty of seating and an old grand piano that is gladly played (when it is "in tune"). The bright dining room provides ample space for shared meals, and a small tea room adjoins it.
We have furnished the bedrooms with a mix of antiques, newer furniture, and found objects. One bedroom upstairs and the bedroom on the ground floor have their own bathrooms. There are also two bathrooms upstairs, each with a bathtub, accessible from the hallway. And on the ground floor is our colorful guest toilet.
The house has a balcony that offers a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. In the garden, you can follow the sun throughout the day until you enjoy the evening sun on the veranda at the back of the house. On the front side of the house, we have created a boules court in the garden in case you want to play a quiet game. A seating area under the old weeping willow invites you to barbecue or make a fire.
The holiday home is non-smoking and offers a low-allergen environment. It is the perfect home for families, friends, and groups seeking a relaxing break in nature.

Location and surroundings of object
Ganzlin is a small, charming community in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. Lake Plau can be reached from Ganzlin either by bike in around 15 minutes or by car in just under 10 minutes. There is a publicly accessible sauna area with a swimming pool on the southern shore of the lake. In Plau itself, the medieval old town with its many cafés and restaurants invites you to take a stroll along the Elde. Concerts are held in the beautiful St Mary's Church throughout the summer. There are two beaches for swimming and a canoe hire centre on the outskirts of the town. Plau has all the shops you need for your daily needs.

| The minimum rental period for the manor house is 2 nights. In summer we usually rent out on a weekly basis, exceptions are possible by arrangement. On short or long weekends (2 or 3 nights) the house always costs 600 euros per night. And at Easter, Whitsun, Ascension Day and around 1 May the high season prices apply. We always provide bed linen. You are welcome to bring your own bed linen and towels, or we can provide them for 12 euros per set. |

Beautiful holiday home for groups
We were guests at Gutshaus Ganzlin with 14 people over Easter and can recommend it without reservation. The object has been prepared with much love and precise taste and offers everything a group desires:
- Spacious rooms and sufficient bathrooms
- Common room for shared meals and gatherings
- Beautiful, unique kitchen that truly has everything needed and invites togetherness
- Good location with short travel times to tourist attractions and discount stores

Gutshaus Ganzlin
We had a wonderful and peaceful stay with 15 people in the thoughtfully and stylishly renovated manor house Ganzlin. The house leaves nothing to be desired for a family celebration or a gathering with friends. The perfect equipment of the kitchen brought us particular joy. The lakes in the surrounding area are really quickly accessible for excursions. We would love to come back.

After a long search, we discovered this beautiful manor house and renovated it ourselves over a period of three years. We like the spaciousness of the rooms, the unusual kitchen where many guests can cook and chat together, the large garden with the boules court, and the proximity to Lake Plau. We live in Hamburg, but enjoy travelling to Ganzlin with our three children to relax and unwind.
