Discover the Sole e Ventu holiday home in Velone Orneto, a charming retreat for two people in an idyllic rural setting. With 65 square metres of living space, a living room, bedroom and bathroom, this house offers the perfect base for a relaxing hiking, swimming or sightseeing holiday.

The house is comfortably and stylishly furnished, with an open-plan living and dining area that is particularly inviting thanks to the original quarry stone walls. The fully equipped kitchen has modern appliances such as a microwave, kettle and coffee machine. A cosy dining area invites you to enjoy relaxed meals, while the living area with a TV and comfortable seating invites you to relax.

The bedroom on the first floor is a place of peace and relaxation, from which the terrace with its breathtaking sea view is accessible. On clear days, you can see the Italian mainland on the horizon from here. The bathroom is small, modern and functional, equipped with a shower. The WC is separate from the bathroom on the ground floor of the house.

Outside, a small, private garden with barbecue and garden furniture awaits you. The perfect place to enjoy the warm summer evenings.

Location and surroundings of object

The typical Corsican village of Velone Orneto is located in the historic region of Castagniccia, which is characterised by its abundance of chestnut trees. There are endless hiking opportunities up to an altitude of around 1800 metres.

Hike on well-marked paths through a wonderfully unspoilt landscape to the deserted village of Fiuminale, to Monte Olmelli, the highest mountain on the Costa Verde, or to one of the many other destinations that can be reached on a day hike.

The coast, with its kilometres of sandy beaches, good shopping facilities and excellent tourist infrastructure, is also only a 20-minute drive away. Corsica's main arterial road runs along the coast, allowing you to reach Bastia, Porto Vechio and Bonifacio in a relatively short time.
