Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and we enjoyed our time exploring the nearby attractions, especially Natuurdiorama Holterberg, which is just a short drive away.

Unfortunately, we had a few problems in the bungalow. Already upon arrival in the dark and rain, we received the wrong code for the key box, so we could only get into the house after several phone calls. Inside, there was unfortunately no way to store things. No wardrobes, hardly any space for suitcases – manageable for backpackers, but rather difficult for everyone else. The microwave has failed several times and we had to pull the fuse to get it running again. There is no stove. The kitchen equipment is okay, but the knives are – as in many holiday apartments – hardly usable. The sauna heats up really quickly, but the door sticks when closing. There is no television, only a small projector without a screen. The image has to be projected onto a curtain. This could be visible to the neighbors. Additionally, craftsmen were supposed to come during our stay, which is an absolute no-go on vacation, but they did not come after all. Overall, much seemed uncoordinated, which unnecessarily complicated the stay.

The house has no internet and TV, so it's nice to disconnect. A tip for the owner, some hooks on the walls here and there so you don't have to put all your towels, clothes, and belongings on the floor. No closet space.

In the region, it is very quiet; you can walk and cycle a lot. In the park itself, there are no entertainment options for small children. Shopping options easily accessible by car. Very quiet there. Unfortunately, we had to pay 150 euros for cleaning, which was not mentioned upfront. The barrier number was also incorrect; we had to seek help to get the barrier to open. No contact options if something happens.
