Living with the gods on Mount Olympus
Are you a nature lover, looking for peace and quiet, do you enjoy hiking in the mountains, but at the same time don't want to miss out on the sea and the beach and are also interested in culture? You love the Mediterranean food and climate, 2 weeks holiday is always too short for you, you have the time and the financial means for a long-term holiday? Then we should get to know each other!
We, a German couple, offer you a house with upscale furnishings, at the foot of Mount Olympus, with a fantastic view of the mountains and a breathtaking view of the sea. The house is situated in the seclusion and tranquillity of absolute nature, approx. 2.5 km from the sea. In good weather, the view stretches as far as Thessaloniki across the Halkidiki peninsula to Mount Athos, some 150 kilometres away.
The ancient gods chose their residence wisely and some Greeks believe that the area here is the most beautiful spot in Greece!
The house is fully furnished to German standards and equipped with everything you need.
Property description:
Basement, ground floor and first floor offer a total of approx. 150 sqm. Living space plus 2 terraces and 2 balconies.
The garden covers around 1,300 square metres.
The ground floor and first floor with approx. 100 sqm, consisting of a living room with open-plan kitchen and dining area, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a storage, laundry and ironing room as well as a utility room with washing machine.
The basement with approx. 50 square metres consists of a kitchen-cum-living room, a bedroom and a bathroom.
The house offers air conditioning, heating, two open fireplaces, a barbecue and a satellite system with which you can receive German television programmes. Sun loungers and parasols for the beach are available for you.

Everything is great again?
We were at the holiday home VillaMargit for the second time this year.
It was very nice again.
The house is very well maintained, clean, and well equipped; there is actually nothing to complain about.
You have a super great view of the sea, perfect for enjoying your coffee in the morning :-)

House Margit
A very clean, spacious house. The location is really top with an excellent view of Olympus and the Mediterranean. The beaches in the area are quite crowded during the season. However, if you leave the tourist paths a bit, you can also find very beautiful and uncrowded sandy beaches. The amenities of the house leave nothing to be desired, and if any problems arise, the landlords are there to help with advice and assistance.

Beautiful house between the mountains and the sea
We can only agree with all the good reviews. Everything is true and even more. The house is large, very clean, well and qualitatively equipped. You find everything you need. Everything also works. The beds are comfortable, which is not always a given. The location is great. The view of the sea from one side and of the mountains from the other side is fantastic. By car, you can reach several beaches for every taste. The numerous bars and restaurants are also quickly accessible by car.
A heartfelt thank you to the landlords Christian and Margit and also to Achim, who picked us up and introduced us to the house. Thank you also to Christian and Achim for the easy and pleasant communication.
Conclusion: we felt comfortable and can highly recommend the house, and on this occasion, we would come back again.

Beautiful house
We had a dreamy view over the sea and of Olympus.
The house is located in a very quiet area, ideal for relaxing. Everything was very clean, with high-quality furnishings and all the comforts to German standards.
We had plenty of space to linger on the terraces and balconies as well as in the large and beautiful garden. The German landlords were very friendly and accommodating; we especially appreciated the extensive welcome basket! We would recommend the holiday home at any time.

Villa Margit, Litochoro
Located outside the tourist hustle and bustle, the Villa Margit offers a fantastic view over the Olympic Riviera. Turning around, one has an unobstructed view of Olympus, the mountain of the Greek gods. Within a few minutes, various types of beaches are accessible: sandy beach, pebble beach, and a steep coastline, a paradise for snorkelers. A large garden with terraces and the balconies of the house always provide a sunny or shady spot. The house itself has a high standard, even by German standards. The welcome with a fruit basket sets the tone for a nice vacation. If there are any questions, German-speaking assistance is available on-site. Conclusion: highly recommended!
