The property consists of a main house and a guest house. The main house can be occupied year-round by 4 people. The optimal occupancy is 2 adults and two children. The guest house has space for 2 people and can be additionally rented from April to September. (From October to March only on request). Even if you have a greater need for space with fewer than 4 people, you can rent the annex as an additional bedroom with its own small shower room and kitchenette or as a retreat. The rental price for the annex is 35.00 euros per night plus 35.00 euros for final cleaning.

The two log cabins were renovated in 2012 and adapted to today's tastes. It is only about 100 m to the Schlei shore with swimming opportunities. You can expect an approx. 2300 m² natural plot with beautiful trees and a pond. From the large wooden terrace that almost completely surrounds the holiday home, you have a view of fields and trees. Hares, deer, squirrels, and numerous bird species are daily visitors. With a bit of luck, you can even watch sea eagles hunting from here.

As the pond is not fenced, the property may not be suitable for families with crawling babies and small children.

Location and surroundings of object

As soon as the asphalt road ends and you continue on the gravel path, "deceleration" takes place. The magnificent view of the Schlei will impress you. You drive through the small district of "Knös", which consists of a few holiday homes, mostly used in summer. At the end of the cul-de-sac, you approach the holiday home and feel as if you are in the middle of Sweden.
Here there is peace, no through traffic, and only a few hikers find their way here. Despite the somewhat secluded location, the center of Brodersby can be reached in just a few minutes. At the "Markttreff" you can shop for your daily needs. There are groceries, fresh rolls and baked goods, a bistro area, a post office agency, tourist information, and fishing licenses if needed. The "Kuchenhaus" offers coffee and homemade cakes and pies, the bistro "Tonne 98" by the marina serves small dishes and cocktails with a beach club atmosphere, and the fish snack bar at the ferry offers delicious fish sandwiches.
The ferry takes you across the Schlei and in a short time to the beautiful town of Eckernförde, where you can enjoy the harbor and Baltic Sea beach.
Schleswig, with the fishing settlement "Holm," Gottorf Castle, and the cathedral, as well as the rum city of Flensburg, are also worth a trip. For those interested in history, a visit to the Viking town of Haithabu and the Viking Museum is a must.
Day trips to the North Sea or to Denmark are also worthwhile. Young visitors will enjoy a visit to the amusement park "TolkSchau". There is much to discover.
