Bad Bergzabern is a charming spa town in the Palatinate, on the Southern Wine Route, known for its vineyards and thermal baths. The flat is located 150 m. from the castle and town centre, the (bus) train station is 0.5 km. away, two shopping centres are only 1 km. away, a supermarket is 250 m. away, a pharmacy is 0.5 km. away opposite the petrol station on the wine route.
Excursions are possible to Landeck Castle, the German Wine Gate and Hambach Castle.
Wine villages along the wine route such as Dörrenbach, Gleiszellen, St. Martin, Rhodt/Rietburg, Neustadt, Deidesheim.
At Wissembourg the route leads into Alsace.
