In the middle of Germany, in the Nordhessen-Rotkäppchenland holiday region, a large holiday home awaits you with 5 bedrooms for up to 11 guests. It features about 180 sqm with three bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a hallway with a dining area, and a spacious living room.
Enjoy your holiday on the terrace and in the garden.
We have lovingly modernized and renovated our parents' house in the spring of 2024 and stylishly-charmingly refurnished it for use as a holiday home. The holiday home has a total of up to 11 sleeping places in five bedrooms. Room 1: Two single beds or one double bed, a third single bed, wardrobe, fan, USB sockets
Room 2: large double bed, private sink, small balcony, wardrobe, fan, USB sockets
Room 3: closet-double bed (140cm), foosball table, dartboard, TV, wardrobe, fan
Room 4: large double bed, 1 single bed, desk with iMac & printer (guest access available), private sink, wardrobe, fan, USB sockets, direct terrace access
Room 5: single bed, ground-level access (wheelchair accessible), private bathroom, wardrobe, fan, USB socket
Three daylight bathrooms, all with shower and toilet, one also with a bathtub. A fully equipped kitchen with:
- Coffee maker (filter and capsule)

- Microwave
- Convection oven
- Ceramic hob with 4 cooking zones and extractor
- Fridge and freezer
- Dishwasher
Large hall with dining area and wood stove.
Split-level living room with a piano, spacious sofa area, and 55-inch 4K TV with satellite reception, Netflix, Apple-TV, and Amazon-Prime-Video.

Homberg (Efze) is a charming half-timbered gem in northern Hessen, the district town of the Schwalm-Eder district and of great historical significance as the town of the Reformation in Hesse. Homberg lies on the edge of the Knüll Mountains and in the popular "Little Red Riding Hood Land" holiday region: The Little Red Riding Hood Land offers unspoilt nature, villages and towns with beautiful half-timbered buildings and interesting cultural treasures. 20 new fable trails in the Knüll Nature Park lead through fairytale forests and tranquil meadow valleys, to idyllic waters and imposing castle ruins. Immerse yourself in the world of the Brothers Grimm, visit the wolf in the Knüll Wildlife Park, marvel at the traditional Schwalm costume with its little red cap or try the famous Ahle Wurscht sausage from Little Red Riding Hood's basket.

Super holiday home for vacation with the family
Great amenities, nothing was missing. We had a wonderful time there with many children.
Only the many stairs should be considered when traveling with children under 2 years old.
The hosts are super accommodating and quick in communication.
Would love to come back.

Creative & cozy meeting point
We used the beautiful house as a meeting point for a creative writers' meeting. Super clean and tastefully furnished, well equipped. Above all, the house has a really great atmosphere, and you can sit together here or there. Or even play foosball and darts in between! :)

House with character
We were able to enjoy our family gathering in this cozy house. It is a spacious and lively house with character. We lacked nothing, the amenities were very extensive. Communication with the landlord was hassle-free. We would love to come back.
