We really like the accommodation, great location by the lake. We have been to this house for the 9th time and we are happy to come back.

House with lake view

Beautiful location near the lake, wonderful for walks; however, it is also very close to neighboring houses. Fortunately, not all of them were occupied during the off-season. The kitchen equipment is sufficient. The sauna is really large, but it heats up slowly as a result. The mattress of the double bed is, contrary to what the house description stated, only 160 cm wide. We missed a coat rack in the entrance area.

Very nice vacation with minor drawbacks.

Apple tree right next to the house. Attracting wasps with fallen fruit. But also ducks! Gardening started one day early at 7:00 AM with a string trimmer and leaf blower. Gas-powered... correspondingly stinky throughout the house. To air it out, we had to open the doors since the windows only open a crack. The house itself was very clean. The fireplace and sauna are highly recommended! Enough space in the house for 4 people. The TV is large, so you don’t need glasses?

The house itself is beautiful to see in the description and in the pictures. When we first entered the house, everything was as described. The sauna is quite large. However, we noticed right away that the benches are installed too low, and the stove is also too low, so the heat rises but the area under the stove remains cold. The distance between the benches is also too short. Unfortunately, there's more to it; the sauna was likely added later on. So in the area of the door at the bottom the insulation was not done well. As a result, ants gather there. It's also not nice to move into a house where ant baits are already lying on the floor. Unfortunately, this really brings down the rating.

Family vacation in autumn

We just spent a lovely vacation week in the South Seas 21. The weather was stormy and often rainy, but the house is warm and cozy. The kitchen is excellently equipped. We even launched the canoe one more time; it was fun! We made good use of the large covered terrace despite the autumn weather. Unfortunately, the sauna was too cold; it stopped at 70 degrees, and there's a draft from below and through the window. Therefore, a small point deduction. But otherwise a cozy holiday home with plenty of space!

Couple with dogs

We were there with our dogs for a few days. Very quiet, as it is clearly before the season. When all the houses are occupied there, it is certainly not as relaxing. The furnishings are functional, but in part very worn. Kitchen equipment is okay (the cups are all mismatched); nice things could be bought for a small amount of money! I know I'm complaining, but presentation matters. I also personally found it a shame that there is zero maritime decoration. Since we travel with dogs, it's natural for us to sweep or vacuum the apartment daily! With a fairly high final cleaning fee, it's unnecessary to mention that the house must be "vacuumed" before departure! In summary, we had a lovely time, but we would not rent this particular cottage again.
