Driftwood that reflects the house

A very beautiful house with many loving details. The kitchen, sauna, the whirlpool, and the room furnishings leave nothing to be desired. Communication with the agent was friendly, quick, and reliable at all times via email and phone. We were – as always – very satisfied!

Super equipment. Everything clean and tidy. Parking and the path to the house were cleared (snow). I am very satisfied.

Vacation with Dog

A very beautiful house furnished with a lot of love, we felt very comfortable, like at home. The house is nice and bright, spacious, and very clean. In the kitchen, everything needed for cooking is also available. The wellness area and the rooms leave nothing to be desired. The support from the agency is always very nice, friendly, and reliable. We would love to come back.

February 21. Until March 15, 2026

Everything was super prepared, the spare key left in the house, only we had to once again "fiddle" with the locking mechanism on the front door, even though we should know it after several stays. . . . The house is very clean, well furnished, and we feel at home from the very first moment. Even the "weather order" worked from the 2nd week of our stay. Thank you very much to Mrs. Heinsohn for that. We took it easy on this vacation, after the time following the summer vacation (also in Otterndorf) was quite turbulent. The peace was good for us, and since we have been "exploring" the area since 2010, we didn't miss out on excursions. We will make up for those next summer, again in the house Am Südsee 12. We particularly like that the property is fenced, allowing our friend's dog to run freely and not have to stay on a leash, as is the case with open properties. The shopping options are optimal with Edeka, Lidl, Aldi, and Rossmann, but they are not necessarily within walking distance. The gastronomy in Otterndorf has not been tried by us, with the exception of the recommendable restaurant China Garten (diagonally across from Edeka), however, we were in Cuxhaven for fish (Fischereihaferestaurant), good value for money and great cuisine. In the summer months, a reservation is recommended. There is good contact with the rental office and any difficulties are promptly assisted. For the house Am Südsee 12, we did not need this help, but at another property, the heating failed in winter and we were able to move immediately, namely to the house Am Südsee 12. And since then we have been trying to book this house again and again...

Vacation

Hello, yes the vacation was super nice, the house was good, clean and cozy, unfortunately it always smelled like dog upon entering, otherwise it was good. Unfortunately, there are also a few defects, the laminate floor is loose. The floor in the conservatory also has defects. Otherwise, it was super nice. The handover procedure was uncomplicated. We would and we have already booked again. We wish the Rose holiday management continued success.

Stay 21.08.-13.09.26

The house fulfills all wishes, not only of the 2-legged but also of the 4-legged. In rainy weather - this time almost continuously - there is enough space to be able to step aside. We will come back, that is a decided matter. Many thanks to the Rose office, the cleaning fairy for the quick preparation of the house, and the special greeting from the homeowners. Otto and Karin Zehentbauer, Sieglinde Edenharter with dog Charlie, and Gisela Kalb.

Completely satisfied

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is tastefully, modernly, and not overly furnished, and was also absolutely clean. The location is excellent as a starting point for walks and to explore the various inviting local establishments. Communication with the Rose agency was smooth and straightforward via email, so we received all the necessary information in advance. Absolutely recommended in all categories!

Bicycle vacation

Great holiday home, we have been in this house four times now and have always felt very comfortable! Everything is regularly maintained and many new things are added (swing). You arrive and the vacation starts immediately. We have already booked again for next September. We actually only miss a storage option for our bicycles.

The house is very beautiful. Nothing was missing. The dog felt comfortable too; the garden is fenced. We will take it again. Thank you very much, the Rose family.

We have been to this beautiful house several times and we always enjoy it. Next time we will come back in a warmer season, because with the great fence we can also enjoy the beautiful terrace more comfortably with our dog. Next year is already planned.

Super beautiful house

Upon entering the house, there was a "WOW" from us. Very bright, very beautiful house. Nice garden with a swing and sandbox. The kitchen is well equipped, and the pictures and accessories make everything feel very homey. Very nice bathroom. Highly recommended.

Very nice and well-maintained house with very good amenities. Ideal for families with small children due to the enclosure. We liked it very much; we have already made a reservation.

Family vacation

We really liked the house. It had everything needed for daily use. The house was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We especially liked the dining room, as it was always very bright. Even in bad weather, the atmosphere was always cheerful. We would love to come back.

The house leaves nothing to be desired. The Otterndorf holiday park offers so much, and when you return to the house after the activities and feel comfortable all around, what more could you want? Everything is lovingly furnished and decorated. We have stayed in several holiday homes, but the house Am Südsee 12 has surpassed everything. THANK YOU!!!!!

September 2022 (2 adults + 2 children)

The house is really very nicely arranged and clean and tidy upon arrival. In the kitchen, you will find everything you need (including a coffee maker (filter and Senseo), kettle, toaster, hand mixer and immersion blender, egg cooker, and all kitchen utensils). The landlord is easy to reach and always friendly. We did not try the sauna, but the whirlpool is great. Having breakfast in the conservatory is simply wonderful. The fenced garden also offers plenty of opportunities for the children. Two boats are also included, which we will try out next time when the children are a bit older. A travel cot and high chair were already set up in the house for the little one when we arrived. We would come back anytime.

We were very satisfied. The equipment of the house is great and well-maintained. We were already in the house at Südsee 12 for the 2nd time; one year ago, we were accommodated here at short notice after the heating failed in the originally booked property (in winter). Ms. Rose, Ms. Heinsohn, and the senior Ms. Rose reacted immediately and offered us the house at Südsee 12. Now it is "our house." We will return in the summer with 2 friends and a dog, and we are sure that this will not be the last booking.
