This farmhouse, newly built in traditional style and furnished to a high standard, is located in the hilltop village of Zebbug
The pool villa offers enough space on an area of about 300m² and has 3 levels. On the 1st and 2nd floors are the four bedrooms: two of them with double beds and two further rooms with 2 single beds each. It is very convenient that all air-conditioned bedrooms have their own bathroom/WC. There is also another bathroom on the ground floor. The upper bedrooms have access to a large (not equipped) roof terrace with a marvellous view!
The spacious eat-in kitchen, which is of a generally high standard, offers plenty of comfortable seating in both the living and dining areas with a direct view of the pool. The entire kitchen area is well and fully equipped. A dishwasher is of course also available.
The private pool area (size of the pool approx. 6x4m) with the adjoining, particularly beautiful garden will certainly be the centre of life in the warmer seasons. Here you will find further inviting seating and sunbathing areas as well as the gas barbecue. This combination of a pool with such a large garden is a speciality on Gozo! You will also find an outdoor shower here.

Zebbug means "olive"... the village was once famous for its abundance of olive trees. The olives were grown here, harvested and pressed into oil. It was then taken to the neighbouring village down the hill, on the way to Victoria, called "Ghasri" (the place to press). Zebbug is an old hilltop village with exceptional views.
Zebbug, with a population of around 1850, is located about 4 kilometres northwest of Victoria above Xwejni Bay at an altitude of 125 metres. This makes Zebbug the highest village in Gozo. Zebbug extends over the two hills "Ta Abram" and "Iz Zebbug", which are connected by a headland. The village is also known for its high-quality Gozo lace and handmade sheep's wool blankets.
The nearest supermarket is approx. 2km away, a small grocery shop can be reached in 2 minutes. Restaurants can be found in the market square of Zebbug, which is about a 10-minute walk away.
Victoria, the beautiful capital of Gozo, with its stunning citadel, is only 4 km from the penthouse.
The nearest bay for swimming and snorkelling is "Xwejni Bay", which can be reached via a fairly steep road after about 2 km. A hire car is recommended, although there is a bus stop in the immediate vicinity.

A mandatory, fully refundable deposit of €200 for up to 6 adults and €400 for 7 or more adults is required and will be charged to the credit card on file. This amount will be automatically refunded within 7 days of departure. The landlord has 48 hours after departure to inform the guest in writing of any damage or missing items. Weekly maid service (after 8 nights) with change of towels and bed linen. Transfers to/from the airport can be organised at a reasonable price. Car hire on Gozo can be arranged at a reasonable price. Free delivery service. Out of consideration for the neighbours, no parties or loud music are permitted! All additional costs included. Air conditioning via coin-operated machine. The landlord uses a dynamic pricing system. The prices quoted here are therefore only a guide. Please enquire. Maltese environmental tax for all tourists older than 18 years, € 0,50 per person and night - up to a maximum of € 5,-/person. This tax is paid to the landlord on site. |
