In Villa Diana, three-room holiday apartment (78m² living space for up to 5 people. Apartment is prepared for 4****, baby cot, high chair, pool, air conditioning, trampoline 305 cm, sandbox, water slide, grill, gas grill, garden, parking in the yard, free Wi-Fi, terrace, fitness room, table tennis table newly purchased as well as solar heating for the pool, located in the beautiful Kvarner Bay. We also disinfect our holiday apartment with a steam cleaner.
You can receive all German programs with us just like at home, so you won’t miss anything from the Football European Championship.
Our holiday house is located in a suburb of Opatija (spa town). The first beach can be reached after 2 km, more can be found in the surroundings of Opatija.
If you do not have a car available, we will drive you to the beach and pick you up. If you fly to the island of Krk or Pula, we will be happy to pick you up and bring you back as well.
Walks can be taken along the long promenade of Opatija, to the old town of Kastav, or in the forest of Kastav, with the hiking trails also being accessible by mountain bike.
Due to the proximity to the sea and mountains, numerous varied activities can be enjoyed. This way you can take part in daily boat tours to the Croatian islands, Venice, and many other places, swim at a variety of beaches, stroll along the famous Lungomare, or enjoy water sports.
The Ucka mountain is 1401m high and can be reached by car in twenty minutes.
You can explore the rich natural surroundings of the mountains on foot or by mountain bike, which can be rented there. If that is not enough for you, you can go paragliding from the mountain peak to explore the surroundings from the air.
If you feel hungry, you can try the game dishes at the restaurant located in the mountains.
Since we provide you with a fireplace grill free of charge, it is a good idea to visit the fish market in Rijeka to enjoy grilled, fresh fish with homemade wine in a relaxed atmosphere in the evening. We offer you a fully equipped holiday apartment with:
air conditioning, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, towels, fully equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi internet access, washing machine, satellite TV, bed linen, 20m² balcony with seating area, barbecue terrace, and parking.
Our garden was chosen as the most beautiful in the area last year, so we would like to invite you to make yourself comfortable there. It should also be mentioned that 50m from the house there is a bypass road for Kvarner Bay.

Location and surroundings of object
The apartment is located 400m from the center Matulji.
The house is located between mountains and sea, so that can be a variety of activities carried out in the varied landscape.
Excursions and day trips can be made with the ship in the Kvarner Bay, to the numerous Croatian islands or Italy. On deck fish and music can be enjoyed. By car or bus you can to Postojna Cave, the Pula Arena, the Plitvice Lakes, the Ucka drive (about 20 minutes drive, beautiful view of the Kvarner bay and the islands, mountain bikes can be rented, possibility paragliding).
In Rijeka you can visit the local fish, and flea market and walk the oldest pilgrimage site in Croatia, Trsat, visit as well as the historic fortress, which was already mentioned 799th
After kilometers is the first beach, others are around Opatija (water) one can at the 12 km long promenade of Opatija, the old town of Kastav or in the forest of Kastav (trails passable by mountain bike)
Nearby (49 km) is the National Park Risnjak. In this wooded, lake-rich massif live numerous protected species such as brown bears, wolves, lynx and eagles in the wild. About numerous hiking trails you can take long walks through the national park.
Our house and the apartments are well maintained and we strive to offer our guests to fulfill many wishes, so you feel good. For our garden we won last year an award. Matulji is away from the center Opatija with 10,000 inhabitants, is a small suburb of Opatija and 4km.
Here you will find many smaller shops, bakeries, street cafes, fish shops, as well as larger discounters.
Famous is the place for hiking on the slopes of Učka and Lisina, visit the medieval town of Kastav and Veprinac and bathing in Opatija and in the bay Preluk. As a special attraction of Carnival applies gathered with his Perchten, the mask dancers from all over the region in January / February.
Besides the proximity to Opatija, the site scores with its proximity to the port city of Rijeka, can be shopped and strolled at will.

Are there for the second time
We feel very comfortable here, just like the first time.
Nice helpful host who fulfils almost every wish.
Especially the pool is very popular with our daughter.
The not-so-good location fades into the background.
This will definitely not be the last time we stay here.
