Our typical Breton stone house is located in Guissény, in northern Finistère, in the Brittany region.
It is located 1 km outside the village of Guissény, in a quiet cul-de-sac, 1.5 km from the nearest bay and 3.5 km from the large sandy beach of Vougo. Several hiking trails also start just 600 metres away.
In Guissény you will find everything for your daily needs. A small supermarket with a great selection of fruit and vegetables, open 7 days a week, a bakery, a bar with a tobacconist and newsagent, a wine shop, post office, doctors, pharmacy and in summer there is a weekly market.
Our holiday home offers space for 2 adults and two children, a fenced garden, a separate entrance, several seating areas and a charcoal barbecue.
The floor space on the ground floor is 50 m². There is a bathroom, a bedroom with a 180x200 cm double bed and a spacious living/dining area with kitchen. In addition, there is a gallery under the roof with a floor area of 19 m², on which there is another sleeping area with two beds (90x200 cm and 140x200 cm) and a lounge area. This area is suitable for children aged 8 and over, as the gallery is only accessible via a wooden ladder.
Our holiday home is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, oven, microwave, satellite TV, Blu-Ray, WLAN, wood-burning stove and electric heating, and there is also a parking space.
Board games, an outdoor game, books and travel guides are at your disposal.
1 dog is welcome in the low season from October to April, without additional charge. Please indicate this when making your booking enquiry.
Other times and more than one dog on request.
A dog bed made of artificial leather and a food and water bowl are available for your dog.
The garden is completely fenced so that your dog can move freely.
The living and dining area offers enough space for 4 people. There is a large sofa for cosy get-togethers, a dining table for meals or games, a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings and a shelf with books, board games, travel guides and lots of information material about the region. Various light sources provide a pleasant light in the evening. There is a fan on the ceiling, which is an additional source of light and in winter ensures that the warm air from the wood-burning stove is brought back down so that it is cosy and warm. There is also a satellite TV with Blu-Ray player.
The kitchenette has everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. The large fridge-freezer has enough space for all the goodies you can buy at the markets and supermarkets. The kitchen is also equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee capsule machine, kettle, French press, microwave, electric hand mixer, cooking utensils, baking tins and, of course, plenty of crockery.
In the bedroom you will find a large wardrobe and plenty of hanging space. The comfortable double bed with a thick pocket spring mattress measures 180x200 cm and has two duvets. You will find additional storage space in the bed drawers.
With a floor area of 19 m² and a generous skylight, the gallery provides a further living area. The standing height in the centre is 1.95 m. When booking for 4 people, there are two additional beds measuring 140x200 and 90x200 cm.
Otherwise, the gallery room is the ideal place to retreat, enjoy the view, read or simply relax.
Due to the access via a permanently installed ladder, for safety reasons, bookings are only possible with children aged 8 and over.
The spacious garden is for your exclusive use. It is completely fenced in. There are various seating options, whether for morning coffee, evening barbecues or reading. There is also a charcoal barbecue and parasol. Enjoy the peace and quiet, the unobstructed view over the fields or of hydrangeas, echium, agapanthe and roses.
