Typical of "Camperduyn" is the most beautiful sunny location in the dunes. It is located at the end of a road, about 800 meters from the beach and 10 minutes from Groet with a supermarket, bakery and several restaurants. Besides the numerous biking and hiking trails along the coastal towns situated near the charming village of Bergen and the cities of Alkmaar and Schagen. Schoorl is located about 8 km northwest of Alkmaar. The village covers about 8 km in length and a maximum width of 2 km. Schoorl is on the edge of the tallest and widest (5 KM) dunes in the Netherlands, reaching heights up to 54 meters. National Park \"Schoorl Dunes\" is the widest natural area along the Dutch Kü of place: Hargen aan Zee, Camperduin and Schoorl (car-free).
