Beautifully furnished, well-equipped holiday flat in Fonyód with air conditioning and internet access for four people
Beautifully located flat on the first floor, not far from the centre of Fonyód. There is a safe staircase, comfortable large rooms, a dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom with washing machine and a large terrace where you can enjoy every moment of your holiday. The view from the terrace is fantastic. A nice, hospitable family lives in the basement. You can park your car on the street in front of the house or in a small car park inside the property. If you bring bicycles, you can also store them safely. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. You can even walk down to the beach. The Palánkvár is nearby. For those who like to go to farmers' markets, Wednesday and Saturday markets can be a pleasant pastime.
Heart In the neighbourhood of Fonyód you can swim for free at five free beaches: - Árpád Beach (Fonyódliget) - Báthori Street (Zsolnay Beach) (Bélatelep) - Bélatelep Free Beach (Bélatelep) - Huszka Street Beach (Bélatelep) - Town Free Beach At Panoráma Beach you have to pay for swimming, but it is worth it as it is one of the most beautiful panoramas on the shores of Lake Balaton and offers a 4-star Blue Flag spa. Beach-like sandy coves have been built from the sand of the Lake Balaton bed, where young children can build castles and sculptures out of the velvety sand all summer long. This is the closest to the Tabán Apartment. The 464-metre-long breakwater pier, which offers the longest and most beautiful view of the shore of Lake Balaton, was built in 1906. It is an important part of today's Fonyód with its harbour and the event spaces, shops and restaurants built next to it. In summer there is also a mini theme park with a Ferris wheel. There are many high-calibre performances on the open-air stage. On the pier there is a work by István Kiss, the Nude of the Couple, and in the park there is a memorial column in honour of Antal Lányi, the first aviator over Lake Balaton.
Kripta Villa - A café with a special atmosphere in a romantic Mediterranean building with the most beautiful panorama in the world. On the ground floor and in the park you can see pictures commemorating our tragic beauty queen Andrea Molnár. In the basement of the villa, an exhibition with a marble statue of the two in their wedding beds commemorates the eternal love of the master builder Ödön Abrudbányay and his bride, who died before the wedding. In Fonyód we find the section of the Balaton Cycle Route that offers the most beautiful panorama of the north coast. If you want to try it out, bring your bike or hire one locally and get going!
You can also take it by boat and visit the north coast for a wonderful excursion.
