Discover the charming Vogelsberg log cabin in Schotten in the Hoher Vogelsberg Nature Park, perfect for your next vacation. This holiday home accommodates up to 6 guests in 100 square meters of living space, distributed across a very large living-dining area, 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom, 1 separate toilet, and sauna

The house is equipped with high-quality amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Enjoy the fresh air in the Hohen Vogelsberg and on our vast property of several thousand square meters or prepare a delicious barbecue on our grill. For your convenience, several parking spaces are available and a terrace invites you to relax. For electric car owners, there is a Wallbox (electric charging station).

Inside the house, you will find a fully equipped kitchenette with a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and coffee machine. A cozy fireplace provides pleasant warmth and a sauna invites you to relax. For your entertainment, there is a television available and, of course, free Wi-Fi.

The house is ideal for couples in an idyllic, romantic setting or families seeking relaxation in nature. At the nearby Hoherodskopf, there are also many leisure activities. Bed linen/towels can be provided optionally. Long-term rentals are possible and the house is smoke-free and pet-free. Moreover, we have placed special emphasis on an allergen-reduced environment.

The house is located on a huge property in the middle of the Hoher Vogelsberg Nature Park, near Hoherodskopf, in a secluded forest settlement. Traveling there by public transport is possible. However, it is recommended to travel in a private vehicle, as the remote location requires some mobility. The nearest shopping facilities are in Schotten or Gedern, each about 10 km away. Frankfurt is about 90 km away and can be reached in about 70 minutes. All other attractions of the Vogelsberg are reachable within 30 minutes.

The town of Schotten levies a spa tax of 1.00 euros per person per day for guests aged 6 and over.

Cancellation terms:

You will be refunded the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 4 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 4 days before check-in, you will be refunded 50% of the booking amount minus the price for the first night and the cancellation fee.
