Description
The New Village Le Tamerici holiday park is located directly on the coast in beautiful Tuscany in the village of Marina di Cecina (near Livorno). Completely renovated in 200'8 and very well maintained, the holiday park has all the amenities for a perfect family holiday. In addition to a restaurant/bar, the holiday complex has a children's and adult pool, playground, tennis court, entertainment, teen club, mini club, mini market and much more. WIFI can be used free of charge. You can easily reach the centre of Marina di Cecina (700m) along the coastal promenade, where you can take a leisurely stroll in the evening or enjoy a delicious gelato. Marina di Cecina also has a large water fun park and the "Cavallino Matto" leisure and amusement park can be reached in 20 minutes by car, so there is plenty of variety. The town of Cecina is also within easy reach (4km). If you would like to visit a large weekly market, you will find a typical Italian weekly market in Cecina. The town also has a lot of other Tuscan flair to offer. The accommodation is also very well located geographically for day trips and so Pisa, Florence, Siena and Livorno can be easily reached.
The completely wheelchair-accessible and modern mobile home with ramp and disabled bathroom has a bedroom with a double bed and a children's room with two single beds and a bunk bed. The living room with kitchenette is well equipped and has crockery, cutlery, pans and a fridge with freezer compartment. The seating area in the living room can be converted into an additional sleeping area if required. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom with washbasin, shower and WC, one of which is equipped for the disabled. The large raised and covered seating area with table and chairs invites you to relax in comfort while the children let off steam in the playground or by the pool. Blankets and pillows provided. Air conditioning included. A travel cot and high chair are available for an extra charge (must be pre-booked and are only available as a set). Travelling time from Ital. Border approx. 3.5h, barbecue allowed, car park included. Half or full board can also be booked on site on request. Note If you need more than one accommodation, this is usually possible with us, as we have several properties of the same type.
DAY OF ARRIVAL + LENGTH OF STAY
In the period from 21.07.-07.09.2024 the arrival and departure day is Sunday. In the remaining period, the minimum length of stay is 3 nights (daily arrival possible). Please note: If for any reason you are unable to arrive on the scheduled arrival day, it is of course also possible to check in on the following day (please let us know before you arrive). The same applies if you wish to depart earlier. Departure the day before is also possible in this case. However, the rental period/rental price specified for booking remains unchanged.
BEACH
The gently sloping sandy beach can be easily reached in a leisurely 10-minute walk through a pleasantly scented and shady strip of pine trees. As the holiday village is located on the outskirts of the town, you can also enjoy a certain amount of peace and quiet on the beach.
POOL
At the centre of the leisure activities at New Camping Le Tamerici is the large swimming pool, which is a true bathing paradise with a length of 25 metres. There is a separate children's pool for younger guests. The swimming pools are open from 10.00 to 20.00.
FAMILY FRIENDLY
Every day the entertainment team offers a choice of new and exciting holiday activities. These include games and sports, gymnastics in the pool, tennis, beach volleyball, football or horse riding in the surrounding area. Your children will quickly make holiday friends in the teen club, while the mini club is available for the very little ones. In the evening, New Village Le Tamerici is all about entertaining shows that provide entertainment for young and old.
LEISURE AND SPORT
In addition to poolside activities, guests can enjoy the tennis court, football pitch, beach volleyball and table tennis. The holiday village also has a selection of bicycles for hire, which you can use to discover the numerous cycle paths and the pine forest of Cecina.
SHOPPING
The supermarket stocks groceries, fresh bread and delicious croissants for your holiday breakfast.
CATERING
The flat has a well-equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery and pans. Shopping facilities are also close by. Of course you can also make use of the half or full board at favourable conditions. You are welcome to book this on site (no pre-booking necessary). The restaurant will spoil you and your family with regional specialities as well as pizza and pasta.

The holiday village is just a 10-minute walk from the beach and the town centre.
LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS
Marina di Cecina is located in the west of beautiful Tuscany and is a popular holiday destination thanks to its great beaches. The town is surrounded by pine forests and Aleppo pines, making it ideal for a walk in the shade. Marina di Cecina is part of the Riserva Statale Tomboli di Cecina nature reserve, which is home to a variety of animal species. Marina di Cecina is therefore ideal for young and old! In the evening, restaurants and bars offer entertainment to bring the day to a pleasant close. If you would like to do something cultural, you can visit the Museo della Vita e del Lavoro della Maremma Settentrionale or the Museo Archeologico Etrusco-Romano. The surrounding towns offer various restaurants, cafés and discos. Day trip destinations include interesting cities such as Pisa, Lucca, Siena and Florence. A visit to the medieval town of Volterra is also definitely worthwhile! The Acqua Village with its water slides in Cecina Mare or the "Cavallino Matto" leisure and amusement park promise ultimate bathing fun for the whole family. The island of Elba and the other islands in the archipelago's national park, such as Capraia, Pianosa, Giglio and Giannutri, are all within easy reach on a day trip. Il Calidario is a well-equipped wellness centre with a natural spring whose water temperature is 36°C. The wine route offers, in addition to high-quality wines, the opportunity to get to know the typical products of the area and to taste the characteristic specialities, such as olive oil, honey, cheese and salami. One village on the wine route is Bibbona, which is the ideal place for trekking lovers and mountain bikers with its marvellous nature trails in the forest. The famous Spiagge Bianche in Rosignano-Solvay (the white beaches) with their fine, light-coloured sand and blue sea are only a few kilometres away. Various water sports can be practised along the coast and the wind, which blows fairly constantly, has made Vada one of the favourite places for sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing enthusiasts. The Secche of Vada, a part of the sea with very shallow water, attracts fishing enthusiasts in every season. The possibility of exploring seabeds rich in flora and fauna and marvelling at the unsuspected natural and archaeological features here make it an ideal destination for many diving enthusiasts. Nature lovers can visit the Il Giardino Sospeso adventure park. Here you can spend a day in the forest on acrobatic suspension bridges between the trees.
