Description
Camping Butterfly is a holiday resort on Lake Garda, a comfortable campsite in green surroundings. It is located in Peschiera del Garda, on the southern shore, where the extensive Parco del Mincio nature reserve begins, which stretches all the way to Mantua in the south. Thanks to its quiet location, Camping Butterfly is ideal for families with children. The new playground has a children's house full of games and toys. In the high season there is entertainment for young and old. In addition to the large swimming pool and a small pool with a slide for the very youngest, there is of course the marvellous Lake Garda with countless possibilities for water sports fans. The resort has a restaurant, supermarket, souvenir shop, medical service, playground, a wide range of sports facilities and a well-equipped pebble beach. Wifi is available in the resort. Internet, coin-operated washing machines and dryers as well as a charging station for electric cars are also available to holiday guests.
The pretty Mobilehome Boheme is bright and cosy. The accommodation offers space for a maximum of 5 people (including one child up to the age of 12). The accommodation consists of a master bedroom with a double bed and a children's room with two single beds and a bunk bed. The well-equipped kitchen is located in the living area and has a 4-burner gas hob, sink, cutlery, crockery, Italian espresso pot (a filter coffee machine can be hired if required), pots and pans and a fridge with freezer compartment. The interior is either blue or green/red. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, WC and washbasin. The covered wooden terrace with table and chairs invites you to relax in comfort while the children let off steam by the pool. Bed linen and towels are available for a fee (please reserve when booking). A high chair or travel cot are available for a fee and a deposit of €30 each (as of 2023) (please reserve when booking). Air conditioning, a TV and a car park are included in the price. Travelling time from ital. Border approx. 2h. Note: If you need more than one accommodation, this is usually possible with us, as we have several properties of the same house type.
DAY OF ARRIVAL + LENGTH OF STAY
In the period from 18.05.2024-30.08.2024 the arrival and departure day is Wednesday or Saturday, the minimum length of stay is 7 nights. In the remaining period, the minimum stay is 3 nights (daily arrival possible). Please note: If for any reason you are unable to arrive on the scheduled day of arrival, it is of course also possible to check in on the following day (please let us know before you arrive). The same applies if you wish to depart earlier. Departure the day before is also possible in this case. However, the rental period/rental price specified for booking remains unchanged.
BEACH
There is a pebble beach and a sandy beach just 100 metres from the holiday complex. Those who prefer to lie on grass will find a large green area on the beautiful Lake Garda beach. There are many water sports available to guests: Windsurfing, paraflying, water skiing and rowing. The beach is therefore the ideal place to relax while sunbathing or to take part in one of the many sports activities. You can enjoy a snack in the restaurants located directly on the beach.
POOL
The campsite has a great swimming pool with a separate paddling pool with a great water slide and a large terrace (standard sunbeds available free of charge while stocks last) where you can enjoy the glorious sunshine.
FAMILY FRIENDLY
The entertainment team is highly motivated and organises lots of great activities. Camping Butterfly has a playground where children can play for hours. The campsite restaurant is a great place to eat with the whole family in the evening. In the high season, there is live music and a mini disco for the children at Camping Butterfly in the evenings.
LEISURE AND SPORT
Those who want to keep fit on holiday are spoilt for choice. In addition to football, beach volleyball and table tennis, there is also an amusement arcade with games and, for a fee, canoes, pedalos and boats. A golf course is approx. 2 km away. On the beach you can learn windsurfing, paraflying, waterskiing, rowing, pedal boating or simply jogging along the lake. Bicycle hire is also available. For example, a cycle tour along the River Mincio is wonderful.
SHOPPING
The holiday complex has a grocery shop where you will find fresh food and a large selection of everyday items.
CATERING
The accommodation has a well-equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans and a fridge with freezer compartment. Shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity. The restaurant will be happy to spoil you and also offers a large selection of takeaway meals.
PETS
Max. 2 pets are allowed, please register when booking. If pets are brought along, a fee of 20 euros must be paid for the final cleaning.

Location and surroundings of object
LOCATION
The centre of Peschiera del Garda is just a few minutes away. The tranquil villages of Lazise and Sirmione are also easy to reach by car. Caneva World and Gardaland are not far from Camping Butterfly and are both definitely worth a visit. For a day trip from Camping Butterfly, we recommend the beautiful city of Verona.
TOWN AND SURROUNDINGS
Peschiera del Garda is located on the south-eastern shore of Lake Garda. Peschiera's old town centre, completely surrounded by canals, lies within a mighty, beautifully overgrown fortress. Strolling through the narrow alleyways, you will find many nice shops and small bars. Peschiera has one of the few railway stations directly on Lake Garda and is therefore easily accessible by public transport. There is also a small marina in Peschiera. Peschiera advertises barrier-free shops and is therefore ideal for wheelchair users and families with pushchairs. Great souvenirs, but also delicious salami, cheese and fresh fruit and vegetables can be bought cheaply at the weekly markets. Every Monday is market day in Peschiera. The town of Castelnuovo del Garda is located next to Peschiera. It boasts a castle built by the Visconti family in the 14th century, which towers over the old town centre of Castelnuovo. A city trip to Verona with its Roman past, the famous balcony of Romeo and Juliet and of course the world-famous arena with open-air performances is just half an hour away. To the west are the cities of Brescia, Bergamo and Milan, which invite you to go on an extensive shopping tour. Even picturesque Venice is within easy reach of Peschiera. Travelling around Lake Garda is also always an experience. Lake Garda offers an exceptionally wide range of leisure parks, zoos, climbing parks and swimming pools. In Castelnuovo del Garda, for example, you will find Gardaland, which is one of the largest amusement parks in Italy. Families get their money's worth here, with over 40 attractions ranging from a white water ride to a fairy-tale themed world, there is something for young and old alike. Right next door, the Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium is waiting to introduce visitors to the underwater world. Breathtaking stunt shows await visitors at Movieland in Lazise. Special effects provide the necessary action. The Parco Natura Viva in Bussolengo (just a few minutes by car from the south-eastern shore of the lake) is a zoo dedicated to the protection of endangered species and is home to a number of endangered species such as tigers, leopards and the little panda. Visitors can go on safari on a walking trail and get close to animals such as rhinos, hippos and monkeys, separated only by natural barriers.
