Holiday Village San Giorgio

The cottage: very good, equipped with everything necessary
The facility: very nice, very well maintained
The service: top notch
The arrival/address: extremely problematic. The holiday village is located in "Moniga del Garda" and not as stated in "Manerba del Garda". They are neighboring towns, but there is no street "Via San Sivino" in Manerba del Garda; it only exists in Moniga del Garda. And one must first figure that out to program the GPS correctly. In the documents, there was not a single hint about the right place. It was pure gut feeling to try "Moniga del Garda" once. That cost us a lot of nerves and time.

Autumn vacation at Lake Garda

The bungalow was very clean and is located on a spacious area by the water. There are always double bungalows. The furnishings are Spartan. There isn't even a small coffee maker. But for a week, it's completely fine. Unfortunately, we had a lot of bad luck with the weather. The operators are not to blame for that. We kept taking hot showers to warm up. Shopping on the site doesn't make sense. The bread service was also suboptimal in September. There's almost nothing left. So shopping in Moniga del Garda is on the agenda. The pizza at the pizzeria leaves nothing to be desired, and all the staff at San Giorgio Vancanze are super friendly. Therefore, there is definitely a recommendation.
